If you love and care about your pet, do not go to Dr. Toft. She does not care about your pet. She cares about her time and money. An appointment during her office hours was charged for an emergency and cost hundreds for my family. She did not treat my pet like it was an emergency and then stated the cat had to stay overnight yet she wouldn't be in til the next day, mid morning. That's not the way to treat an emergency! She's careless! Went to the Marshall Vet Clinic instead where they are compassionate! more

Do not go to Dr. Toft. \r She is not compassionate, she cares about money, not your beloved pet. \r When you have to ask/tell the vet what to do, something is wrong. She treated my family horribly. She charged an emergency visit for a 4pm appointment. She continued to look at the clock during the appointment. She kept our cat overnight, but didn't monitor at all. The next morning when asked how the cat was doing, she replied, ""Well, this isn't an ICU"". \r If you care about your pet, do not go see Dr. Toft. more

Small Clinic with personal service. Dr. Toft is knowledgeable, steady, and kind. She takes the time to answer as many questions as she can; and to treat your pets thoroughly. Our previous vet, just took your pet off into the back, without much conversation as to the ailment. Dr. Toft allows you in the treatment room, to be involved in your pets treatment. Her instructions are clear and concise. Her staff are friendly and helpful. A variety of pet products and foods are available for purchase. She definitely has a loyal following. I would certainly recommend Dr. Toft and the Montevideo Vet Clinic. Pros: Excellent Vet and staff. They try to keep fees low. Cons: Medical treatments are expensive....even for animals. But it's competitive, non gouging. more
