Montessori Greenhouse Schools

This is a great school. The administration and front desk seem to be very flexible. The school is catered to people who work because they often have daycare opportunities during spring break, etc. They are also flexible and offer partial week programs for toddlers. The school is very clean and new and the teachers seem nice. We are in the toddler program and have Janis who is solid. We hear the early childhood teachers are also pretty good. more

The adminstration is rude, the teachers are babysitters, and the price is high for what you get. After spending $2000 a month for over a year, they refused to grant a refund after we moved out of state for the registration fee and first month tution (1200). By the way, why charge the parent $400 each year if the enrollment is a continuing basis? Also, they are always trying to make extra money from the parents for useless "webby dance" and other "extras" By the way, Emma is mean and rude. more

My niece and nephew both attended Montessori Greenhouse for toddler, preschool and elementary. Words cannot adequately explain what kind, caring, intelligent individuals they have become. They are self-starters who are now making a difference in the world. The opportunities they received have provided skills and opportunities for life. The staff at the school were amazing and many of them are still there. This truly seems like a wonderful place for children! more

What a wonderful school, my daughter has been their since she was a toddler. The staff is caring and go out of their way to make the child comfortable in their classroom while giving them every opportunity to learn. This school also doesn't hold the child back, the children are able to learn as much as they can strives for. While my daughter was in the third grade she was working on forth and firth grade math, this was a great thing, and allows her to continue to achieve higher. I'm so glad we found this school and would never have given a second thought about leaving her there to grow. She has become a pleasant, thoughtful and caring young girl. more

My son was completely unhappy with the school program and his teachers...Janice (Director), Esther, etc. At first we thought he just needed some time to adjust to his new school. After a year we transferred him to another preschool b/c he was so unhappy with Greenhouse. He adjusted to the new preschool immediately and fell in love there. The teachers were loving and caring, and my son talked about them all the time. At the Greenhouse, the teachers were cold and unfriendly. They never greeted him when he arrived in the morning. I don't believe any of them even noticed him when he walked in. Is this Montessori style or is it Greenhouse? I do not recommend this preschool to any parents who are looking for a loving and nurturing environment. Parents who have children there should drop in and observe their child's class to see what really goes on.
