While living in San Jose and San Francisco I have purchased many flower arrangements for events and special occasions, and can say with ego that not only does this flower shop have beautiful flowers, but I was treated with excellent service. I took a liking to a particular floral arrangement and I was happy to purchase the one on display along with a beautiful vase on their shelf, but the two owners gladly committed to making one from scratch and with my specifics. When I was presented with the final product I was amazed at the beautiful image and could visibly see that they added more flowers to my arrangement at no additional cost. LOVE this Florist 3/30/2011

I just want to say whoever wrote the review below is being way harsh on George and Sara. They are very nice people and never rude or short, I have been buying my flowers here since they opened, and just like any other place they could have a bad day once in a while, but I have always had a great experience shopping here, their selection is unbelievable, George has a masters in horticulture and can tell you anything you need to know about any flowers or plants, and they are always willing to go out of the way for you. I needed some emergency funeral flowers on a sunday one weekend when they were closed and George opened the store on his day off just to help me out, my daughter's wedding flowers were also ordered from here and they were perfect, amazing, and all we hear was ooohs and ahhhs about them the whole time. I would highly reccomend this florist both in terms of quality and customer service! more

sorry this is the last prom! 3/23/2011

Every year we have ordered my son's prom date a wrist corsage from Modesto Exotic, and I am sad to say this is his senior year, and we are soon to order the last one for the Beyer High prom. I am always excited to pick up the corsage and see what they have done. The colors are amazing, and they have always done their best to match the dress his date is wearing. They have these amazing blue orchids! I highly recommend this florist for any formal event....... more

This Flower Shop is AWESOME!!! 2/24/2011

This flower shop is one of the best that I have visited. I came here on Valentine's Day to get a bouquet for my girlfriend and let's just say she absolutley loved it. The price was reasonable and the bouquet was amazing!!!! The flowers were beautiful and had a nice smell to them. I recommend this flower shop to anybody looking for some flower's for their loved ones. more

AMAZING SERVICE! 1/25/2010

I can honestly say that the owner of this flower shop was the kindest man I have met in the business today. I went in after having a horribly rude experience at the flower shop next to the gas station on coffee and briggs (disgusting place and service) and explained what had just happened. He even apologised for the other store lol. He bagan to give me a breif history of his store and where they originated back east and gave me a permanent 10% discount on all my future purchases via business card. Beautiful store, beautiful service. I have recommended many people who were completely blown away with his service. Btw, the low rating and complaint was done by a flower competitor here in modesto lol. No joke. go in and see for yourself how great this guy is. 10 thumbs up! more

Horrible for weddings.... 11/11/2009

We met MEF at a bridal fair I ended up winning a bouquet worth $250.00 so we decide to go with them. Every time I called with a question or a payment he never remembered who i was. When we had our first sit down with him he had forgotten that he even made an appointment with us. At that time he gave us some free stuff for our wedding (which we did not ask for but he volunteered to us) which we appreciated as well. we gave him a deposit and he dose not have contracts so i created a spread sheet with a descriptions and amounts needed, not to mention color pictures of exactly what i wanted. Pros: Gorege is nice Cons: Everything else, free bridal boquet is a joke, cant get alot more

Modesto Exotic Flowers are the best I have ever seen! 8/22/2009

I have purchased flowers from all over but I have to say, hands down, George's shop is the best. Everytime I come in, George welcomes me like a long lost friend. He 100% genuine and knows his business. He has the most beautiful lillies and the freshest selection of any flower you can imagine. His roses are always fresh and so colorful. Just when I thought his place couldn't get any better, he renovated it and put in a wide selection of candies, nuts, and chocolates and still managed to keep a large portion of the garden section that looks absolutely stunning! I use his shop for all of my flower needs. He is a true friend, a wonderful host, and a master of his craft. Thank you, George, your loyal customer and friend, Jesse. BEST FLOWERS IN TOWN!!! 12/10/2008

I love this place, the owner manager George always hooks it up no matter how short on cash I am. The place is beaitifuli inside it looks like and exotic paradise along with talking birds and fountains. I love the lucky bamboo arrangements and the exotic designs. My friend had her wedding done by them and they were honestley the most beautiful flowers i have ever seen. I took an arrangement home with me and it lasted almost a month. No exagerration. Mu husband buys me all of my flowers here!!! more
