I have purchased from this company a few times. The first time they were helpful and polite. The next time they sent me the wrong part. I ordered it correctly, but Mobility RV sent me the wrong part. John at Mobility RV told me I should alter it to make it work.
Thinking I would give them one more chance I ordered another part from Mobility. They said it would be drop shipped from Winnebago direct to me. It arrived damaged. I thought I might be able to save everyone trouble by using it as it came, so I installed it and hoped for the best. The first trip after that it broke.
I called Mobility and explained it had broken. I was told that since it had been shipped from Winnebago Mobility would not help me. I asked John if I understood correctly- They had sold the product to me, taken my money, but were washing their hands of it when there was a problem. John agreed, that was the situation.
The product was sent to me 95 days ago. The warranty is 90 days. I grant those facts. My problem is that I was not told those facts until today. Mobility charged my credit card, and never sent a receipt or any other information. Nothing came with the product. John pointed out the fact that of the 90 days and 95 days and told me I should know their return policy from past purchases. When I asked if he knew the return policies from anyone he had ever shopped with he told me he did not but I should.
Mobility might know their RV parts. But their customer service and support come in second to the local cable company, and we know most people are leaving the cable companies. As far as Mobility goes, buyer beware- it will eventually come back and bite you hard.
