Mitasu Japanese Restaurant

Let me say I am not in my home town alot, so I am not up on the Mitasu/Shiki falling out. I was a loyal fan of Shiki for 10 years eating there several times a week. It was my own stupidity that I ate at Mitasu yesterday. Kim is very rude, and once I had had enough, I got up to leave before my food came, but somehow she managed to talk me into staying. After I got my food and proceeded to eat, I noticed the inspection grade if 93! Great!!!! Didn't finish my meal much after that. About 2 hours later I became deathly ill, throwing up and diarrhea all night. I am in town because my dad is on his death bed, so I really didn't need this! Please beware people,which I think that's why I was the only one in there! more

Let me start by saying, I never cared for the Mitasu employees attitudes, very very rude. That does not keep one from enjoying half decent japanese food. Today was different, I started calling at 8:40 pm..finally getting an answer at 8:51pm, only to be told that the owner had closed the business 15 minutes early on this day, and this day only. Is this truthful, no, any good business man goes above and beyond to show appreciation to his returning customers. this is just another example of rude and lazy service, any meal takes less than 7mins to make here, the employye named Kim had only one explanation, its the owners decision, why has this not been the decision for the past 2 years i have been bringing in my business at the same time every other week? who knows? who cares? This was the final nail in the coffin i needed to end my relationship, always having to deal with the OBESE gal up front who for sure has never shown one shard of manners, and always acts like it's a mortal sin to disrupt her from her online escapades, probably a dating site that she uses someone elses picture as her own. it feels good to know that dealing with her rude self just to get a just below good shrimp sauce is over, as for Kim, good luck dealing with her daily, and to the cook, nice cooking, more for the speed than the taste, thanks though. to the owner...I spend $30 per trip, at the very least visiting 26 times yearly, I will take my business slsewhere, and now believe more than ever about the faling out with the other half of the family was true, and that the smartest thing they ever done was keep the SHIKI name, and all of the opinions about the Mitasu experience are now true, unbelievable until this last personal experience plus the OBESE gal with the terrible mannerisms, and horrible attitude, I give all of my future business to trhe other half of the family and the owners of SHIKI. I am 100% agreement the best thing that ever could have been done is to push this small band of members away from SHIKI and make them share there poor people skills, and rude mannerisms under the MITASU name.....CONGRATS to the owner and family members who still reside with SHIKI.........just say no to MITASU!!!!!
