After being out of the market for nearly a decade, I brought three of my coins in for an appraisal. The man who did this was impatient and rude. He spent two seconds tops on each of the three coins and made snap appraisals, citing problems and defects I had not seen myself. Curious and interested in learning more, I asked him (without the slightest bit of confrontation) simple and reasonable questions like where on the coin he actually saw wear or how he could tell that a coin was cleaned. Rather than answer, he was irate and dismissive, reminding me that there were other customers. Instead of being professional by asking me to wait, come back, or by taking time for thoughtful consideration, he was aggressive and rude. If you enjoy coin collecting and want to talk coins, this is NOT the place to go to.
