Wonderful Personal Trainer!!! 7/17/2008

I have never been fit. Finally, last year on my birthday I decided to do something about it. I needed to lose weight, and a lot of it, and get in shape. I started working out on my own at home on my treadmill, but after several months I was getting bored. So I started researching personal trainers and gyms in town trying to find one that I felt comfortable in. When I called Miss Fit Adventures and spoke with Nikki, I knew immediately that this was the place for me. She understood what I needed and I didn't feel like she was judging me for my weight. Nikki is absolutely wonderful. She trains to your level and knows how to help you reach new levels of fitness all the while making it fun and enjoyable. We share many laughs and I always feel completely supported. With her help I now feel more fit than I ever have and I can only imagine what is to come yet on my journey to wellness and fitness. more

Excellent personal training - fun & challenging adventures! 3/28/2007

I first discovered MissFit Adventures from an Oregonian feature article a few years ago. I had hiked with my dogs for many years but had lost the motivation as they had grown too old for long hikes. I began hiking and snowshoeing with MissFit groups, and met some great people who were all very health-oriented, positive and supportive. My next step was to commit to some personal training, which involved committing time and money, but I am so glad I did. Nikki Becker is very experienced at providing customized training and nutritional programs to fit individual goals. I was amazed at how much I improved last year in terms of overall fitness, strength, cardio endurance, and weight loss. I highly recommend both Nikki and Taylor as personal trainers, as they provide a very supportive, positive and encouraging atmosphere to complement their vast knowledge of physical fitness and overall health. The gym has a vast array of cardio and resistance equipment. The adventures I have been on include hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking, and I hope to participate in many more. more

Great atmosphere! Experienced training and fun workouts! 2/27/2007

This is like no other place I have ever been. Miss Fit Adventures is fun, exciting, new and well rounded. Nikki is a TOP NOTCH trainer. She has over 15 years of experience and it shows. I love working out in her private training studio. There are lots of laughs. Nikki makes working out fun and challenging. She works me hard, but know when to back off. I also like the adventures part of Miss Fit as well. Hiking, kayaking, mountain climbing you name it Miss Fit Adventures has it. It's for all fitness levels! Highly recommended!!! Excellent personal trainer and adventure guide! 2/14/2007

With guidance and encouragement from Nikki, I?ve gone from couch potato to an active, healthy life. For the first time, I am training for the dragon boat races, planning on snowshoeing next week and participating in the We Will Because We Can bike ride in June. As a gift to myself, I?m going to Alaska with Miss Fit. All the women have been supportive and we have a great time! Training with them makes the process of becoming fit a pleasure. What A Workout! 2/14/2007

Nikki, the owner, and Taylor are fantastic, patient and knowledgeable. I walked in looking to get some tips on weight lifting and to get ready for summer, I now know more about my body then I ever have. I've learned about how to eat right, what kinds of foods to avoid and how less food isn't always better. I know what kinds of stretching to do after each set of weights, how to increase my weights with out injury and how to build long lean muscles. I've learned how to keep my heart rate in my optimum zone for the most efficient fat burning workout. I have even learned how to find my own heart rate zone. I've found people who enjoy the outdoors as much as I do giving me even more opportunities to get out and explore. more
