Minami Japanese Restaurant

The food is not fresh, except the sushi (only at the beginning of the week though). The owner yells at his staff for no reason 9 have witnessed this myself). He drove one girl to tears because she asked him a question for me and called her stupid. I found out she had only worked there for 3 days. I know someone who worked there that said the same thing happened to her. They yelled at her and made her feel like an idiot. She was a head waitress at 2 different restaurants before she started working there and apparently everything she did was wrong. She wasn't allowed to talk to the customers because they told her ""the rednecks here don't want talk, they want eat"". The manager/head chef ""Tommy"" blows his nose and doesn't wash his hands before cooking people's food, the bathrooms are alwasy dirty and the food is way overpriced for the quality. Our waitress the last time we went was so nice and friendly, but now they aren't supposed to even talk to people?! No thank you. Apparently if you are a woman and have an opinion it is disrespectful to them, well this woman has an opinion. You are horrible people, and your restaurant needs to be shut down. People like you make me sick, and I have alarge number of people who will never, ever be dining there again. more

Clean and decorated nicely. Large selection of sushi rolls. Picked 3 different kinds and all were artfully done and delicious. Prices were right and staff was pleasent. This will be my favorite place to go. more

4 people - our fried rice and meat/seafood was all overcooked. Service good and no wait on a Saturday night. They added the tip into the bill and did not mentiion it. We ended up paying the tip twice. :-( Pros: Service Cons: Food quality more

I love this place. Me, my boyfriend, and My mom are regulars. We always go for the lunch and always sit at the Hibachi Grill. The prices are great during lunch time (Sunday-Friday) We spend about $25 tip and all for 2 adults. The portions are Huuuuge so you better be hungry and make room in your fridge. We have been a few times during dinner where the portion are even bigger and the put on the typical Hibachi show. The dinner prices are around $15-$20 an entree. The food is just amazing! I've never had a bad meal there. The plus is that we've never had to wait to be seated. I reccomend going for lunch. The prices are much lower, though you get a little less food. If you haven't tried this place, you must! You won't be sorry!! more
