Small town library has newest books 8/11/2017

I recently visited the small library in Milo, ME and found it to be charming. They have the latest best sellers and will get them if asked, either from another library or they will buy it. They have several computers to use and internet access for those using their laptops. The librarians often know just what kind of book you are looking for and will help you find it. They have a large children's book section. Downstairs you can sit quietly and read or do research. I really enjoy visiting there. more

welcoming small town small library 8/1/2010

Being a Milo resident, I'd like to mention the new programs at our library. There are high speed internet any resident can use for free, or the visitors can use their own laptops connecting to the wireless router; During school time, there IS a reading program every Wedn. for any elemertary students who like to read; in summer, they have a "make a splash" reading program and poster contest. They don't have a huge collection of books, but if you know the title, they can get it for you thru the Maine State Library System. The librarian is always helpful! Our family loves it! more

Small town: small library.... 9/12/2005

This is actually an ok library for the size of it. However their book collection isn't all that large and overall I am not impressed. They don't offer story hours for the younger kids but they do offer computers with internet connections which is good for the older kids that need to do a report for school. Their hours aren't that great, they are only open three days a week and with such little hours it makes it almost impossible to get in. more
