I am very willing to recommend Mike's Sound Solutions. I have had this car for about 10 years. Some time ago I went to another car stereo installer and spent a lot of money only...

Best Shop around! As a law enforcement officer I want a shop that I can trust with my vehicle and personal information. These guys are that. they are very reliable and get the job done right. they do fantastic work . They have worked on three of my vehicles and I have been completely satisfied! great prices, great equipment and great work! more

Mike and Mark and the whole sound solutions gang were wonderful!!!!!!! I called with an alarm emergency re: my van and an accident that rendered it useless. Mike was ill, still answered his cell phone and coordinated a time slot for me with Mark. In minutes they had it fixed. At my request they added power door feature, gave me a discount and had me back on the road quickly. Efficient, friendly, professional..the way ""people"" should run a business. more

An organization that I have and will continue to recommend to people that need audio work done. 5/8/2012

Mike's Sound Solutions met what I originally went in for and came up with effective ways to improve sound and video quality in my vehicle, some that I didn't even know existed. I went in to improve my stereo's sound, and I didn't even realize how many options are available to enhance the riding pleasure in my automobile. They took me through the thorough process and fitted me with the products to meet my needs. They did not oversell or undersell me. We had open discussions on what's needed and what's unnecessary. When I was in their store, they had plenty of displays, and they went through the process of finding out my needs and what I was looking for. They didn't just push the top of the line, they took the time to ask what I was expecting and bring up situations that I might not have realized. It was an open discussion, not a high pressure environment, to find out my needs and what the right products are for my needs. more

I am very willing to recommend Mike's Sound Solutions. I have had this car for about 10 years. Some time ago I went to another car stereo installer and spent a lot of money only to be dissatisfied with their work. I have a BMW Z3 which is a small two seat sports car and they put the subwoofer in the leg room of the passenger seat. I came to Mike's Sound Solutions a month ago and we worked out the problems. I ended up getting everything in the space that was originally meant to hold all the speaker equipment. I got my car trunk back as well as leg room for my passengers. They are tremendous. The interior reconstruction of the space they put the subwoofer in, looks amazing! It all cost less than what I paid at the last place. more

BEST CAR AUDIO SHOP IN SAC. FORGET ABOUT THE REST 3/10/2012

Without a doubt the coolest and most-helpful shop in the Sacramento Area. I've been to a few shops in Sac and most have either tried to sell me garbage or made me feel like a loser because I was not in the market for a $3000 system. From the moment I called MIke's I knew I had found the right shop. 1. They were having a sale on Hertz speakers and their prices matched the big online store w**fersetc. 2. They really listened to me and my needs and never made me feel dumb and never tried to get me to exceed my budget. 3. They get me in and out of there in just a couple of hours. 4. When I asked Mark (the manager) if there was a nearby theater around where I could catch a flick while I waited he offered to drive me there!! Hows that for customer service. I picked out a pair of Hertz HSK 165 for the front and some HCX 165 for rear fill. They also attached a new AUX cable to the back of my head unit since I damaged my old one. While I was chillin' in the theater down the street they got my ride tuned up and ready to roll. My car sounds GREAT! I mean incredible. I WILL SIMPLY USE NO OTHER CAR AUDIO SHOP AS LONG AS I LIVE IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA, PERIOD! Thanks Mark, Mike and the whole crew. You guys have won a customer for life! more

I was really impressed by my experience here. Last Spring I bought a stereo from Mike's shop and had it installed in my car. Unfortunately, a problem arose later that year and I brought my car in. more

Mikes is the best shop around, he has something for everyone and every budget. The people in the shop are friendly and do wonderful work. Louis is a master box maker, he doubled the bass in my car with his box. Mikes has the right products for the right price. more

I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, the product lines were everything I was looking for, installation was completed on time as promised, installation was very clean, the custom built console gets a lot of attention at car shows. I do tell everybody where I bought and had the system installed. Keep up the good work! more

Great place!! 4/19/2011

I am delighted with this place. Bought a 2010 Fleetwood Sprinter RV and the sound system was so horrible I wouldn't even turn it on. I went in to Mike's Sound Solutions and talked with Mark. He actually went with me to my storage to see my RV and to listen to the system that came in my rig. I picked out a Sony with navigation, blue tooth and some awesome speakers. They installed it all today and it sounds so wonderful I actually thought I would cry. They drove me home and picked me up when it was finished. They are very professional, pleasant and do absolutely great work. Mike sat with me and showed me how to use the CD player, navigation and even connected my blue tooth for me. Then he stopped traffic so I could get out unto Elk Grove Blvd. I highly recommend Mike's Sound Solutions. more

Great work! 9/13/2010

Took my car in for diagnosis of stereo system not knowing what to expect because it didn't sound right. When they got back to me Mike explained that my unit is shot (its the reason why stations keep coming in and out and a lot of distortions) and that whoever installed the unit did not do a good of installing it. I mentioned I was on a budget and he came up with really nice setup that didn't cost me an arm and a leg! He took the time to show me how to use the new system and recommended the best upgrades when I have some extra cash. Great people and very good at what they do. I highly recommend Mike's Sound Solutions to anyone. more

Best Customer Service and Professional Installer 9/1/2010

I've been searching for a good price for car stereo installation. Found this place close to my store and seen the reviews. I was a little skeptical about trying to have my system install in a small company. But after I went there, the sales person and installers are very professional. And they did an excellent job. Definitely would recommend any one who want the job done the 1st time. more

Excellent Customer Service! 12/2/2009

I have searched and shopped several stereo stores in the Sacramento County to see who was the most experienced/knowledgeable to install a sound system on my 2009 BMW R1200RT. I am elated that I chose Mike's to do the job. From the fine details of stripping my bike down to mesh with factory wiring to explaining what size system would not affect the electrical draw on my bike was a huge plus. Also, they did beat their competitors bidding without being aware that I had been shopping around. These guys know what they are doing and the do it well! I highly recommend Mike's Sound Solutions. Pros: Honest, meticulous,experts and reasonable Cons: The drive from Folsom but well worth it! more

Great Customer Experience! 11/25/2009

I had a great experience with this business. I had them install a double din stereo in my new car. They beat quotes from Best Buy and other, larger installers in the area. The first unit they put in (JVC) turned out to be defective. They upgraded me to an even better Kenwood unit at no additional cost. I made a quick trip back and they swapped out the loaner head unit for the Kenwood in less than an hour and I was on my way. It looks and sounds great and has all the functionality I was looking for (Satellite, AM/FM, iPod connectivity). I would recommend this business to anyone. Thanks Mike & Co! Pros: Great communication, flexible, reasonable, punctual! Cons: Can't think of any. :) more
