Buyer Beware !! 12/22/2010

Late last July, I contracted Midwest Pools & Spas for a fiberglass pool and surrounding concrete patio. They wanted full payment upon delivery of the pool shell. They completed the work in late August. The concrete patio cracked and collapsed over the winter, and the pool tilted. Greg Hoover, the owner of Midwest Pools & Spa, came out and then personally took responsibility for the shoddy cement work and agreed to fix it. He requested we wait until pool season was over in September, which we agreed to. Now he claims to "not have the money" to replace the patio . more

Worst Experience to Date In Building 4/21/2009

Good: Nothing. Bad: I have never been treated worse when making such an investment. You can never get a hold of anyone, and if you do it is like you owe them something to fix what they did not do the first time. I have lived in 6 houses in the past 8 years and I would rather build an entire house than to deal with Midwest in putting in a pool. The contractors are bad, but what is even worse is the Midwest people are even worse!. Improvements: Take care in your work and customer service. Just deliver what I paid for!. more

Fiberglass is the best choice 1/26/2007

I've owned vinyl pools and cement pools before and now a fiberglass 12' x 30' pool. Would never consider owning anything other than fiberglass again. Very easy to take care of and very little chemicals. Midwest is the absolute best pool company in the business.There are a lot of other pool companies out there that promise the world and deliver nothing but headaches. Just ask my neighbors that tried to get cheaper pools. Thanks again for a great experience. more

I love these pools! 9/24/2005

I have a friend who had a midwest pool installed in his backyard. I love it, my children love it and my friend says it's the best decision he ever made to have Midwest install it for him. more
