As a working person, I am not reliable as far as keeping track of some pay since I am a contract worker here and there across our nation, maybe days, weeks or months at a time and then deployed rapidly to other locations. Additionally, with all the movements and various addresses, I can not keep up with what bills are due when or how much needs to be paid. By having Mid-Florida direct deposit and also by setting up automatic bill paying, I am greatly relieved and, although still not always timely, the services supplied by "my" Mid-Florida have been the greatest. I took advantage of a small loan at a very good rate, and was able to pay it off early without penalties. Finally, by getting my checking account and savings at certain levels with minimal money in the accounts, I did get a $77 benefit for banking at Mid-Florida. I appreciate this credit union especially when I work in other states. I found that I can go to other credit union banks and have services the same as my Mid-Florida Credit Union in a cooperative relationship. more

We have our short-term savings account at Midflorida Federal Credit Union because the interest rates are always higher than those at our local banks. We also have a small household checking account there. In my opinion the employees at Midflorida Federal Credit Union are much nicer and more friendly than those at any of our local banks. At one time, only federal employees were allowed to open an account at Midflorida Federal Credit Union. Now, however, anyone living in the county is eligible to open an account.
