good place for hanging out 11/13/2005

There are Wendy's and some small restaurants in the Michigan. You can have lunch only though. There are also computer rooms which have several nice computers and LCD monitors. The chairs there are awesome. They are some comfortable that you won't want to leave. But the number of the computers are limited. You need to go early to have them. more

Ideal Wedding/Reception Setting 10/6/2005

The moment we got engaged (actually, months before when we were talking), we knew we wanted our reception (and as it turned out, our wedding ceremony) at the Michigan League Ballroom. As two U-M grads, we knew it would have the elegance and the high-quality we were looking for. They did not disappoint, and went above and beyond as a few curve balls where thrown at us in the process. The food is great, the service superb and the building is beautiful. more

Excellent Campus Computing Site. Good Food. 9/30/2005

Michigan league got excellent location, just right across the main campus bus stop (C.C. Little). In the basement, you can find Wendy's and Tim Horton's. Also, there is an excellent campus computing site in the basement. Fast computers adn comfortable environment (they even use freedom chairs for that computing site. One single chair costs $800). There are hotel rooms upstairs. When my roommate's parents came, they stayed there. The room rate is over $100 per night. Not cheap but clean! more

Great computer gaming area 8/10/2005

The Michigan League has a hotel, conference rooms, meeting areas, lounges with big screen televisions, eatery, restaurant, offices, and a really cool computer gaming area. Realizing there was no place for students to go and just hang out and play on computers without the stress of feeling like they need to be writing papers or studying, the League created this cool gaming lounge area. Students can log in and play their cybergames to their hearts content. With the incredibly comfortable chairs and high tech look of the stations, makes you want to sit there for hours and just get lost in the games. more
