Shape up 3/22/2010

My wife and I along with several friends are regular customers at Mi Pueblito's in Shelby and have been for a few years. We go there as much as 4,5, or 6 times a week. The food used to be really good but there have been some changes there and it's just not as good as it used to be. The bartending staff used to be friendly and very personable. When you walked in they made you feel like you were at home and everyone was your friend. They made a point to take care of the regulars. It's just not that way anymore. The Bartending staff have all quit or been fired. MI Pub's we all luve ya but this crowd is ready to find somewhere else to hangout and spend our money. more

Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant 3/28/2006

Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant certainly is the best Mexican restaurant in this area. We end up going at least 5 or 6 times a month, sometimes more. I have never been in a restaurant that is like this one. From the moment one walks in to he/she goes out the door, he/she is treated like a God. They are great there. The taste is wonderful, and the servers are great and extremely attentive. They have added another page on their menu and have "non-Mexican" foods. I recommend this restaurant at five stars. more

Mexican Food at its best! 3/17/2006

Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant is the best. They are the outstanding restaurant in Mexican authentic food, voted by me and most of Shelby! LOL! We love this restaurant. The servers are nice and kind and willing to help you. They are always there when you need them as well. I like going there because I know the food I get will be great. The prices are in line with other restaurants in the area, but this restaurant cuts the cake for being the best. more

Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant, located adjacent to the Farmers' Market, is the best restaurant that specializes in authentic Mexican food in this area. I wouldn't even be afraid to say that they are in the best in the Southeast, if not the United States. Chips and salsa are free at every meal. They do have a bar and frequently have great bands with no cover charge. Their bar is very popular in this area. The food is really delicious, and they do have daily specials. The parking isn't that good, but you can park on the adjacent street. That is what I usually end up doing. That is actually better than using their parking lot. more

Best Mexican Restaurant in Town 9/22/2005

This is the best Mexican restauant in town. In fact, I have never eaten at another in any town that surpasses it. The employees are nice, and the food is wonderful. They have a bar that is popular, and they also have bands sometimes. This is an extremely popular restaurant here. The parking is bad, though. They don't have much of it. But they good food, and you can always allow for bad parking when there is good food! LOL. I enjoy the menu selections. I love the white cheese dip and chips. Yummy! You must visit this place! more
