Kiem is the best! 12/31/2011

I will never be able to get my hair done by anyone else. Kiem Voong is the best by far! I am kind of picky with my hair and it is important to me that it is done right. I have gone to several other places and my hair never really looked how I wanted it to look. He actually does what you want and also gives great suggestions. He is a true artist and you can tell he loves what he does. more

Did I ever think that I would stay with the same hairstylist for over 2 years ? Could I have imagined that I would meet a stylist who would listen to me and take the time at each visit and over a series of visits to work with me to develop colours and styles that work in a professional setting but can be jazzed up for fun while remaining low-maintenance and almost effortless ?Kiem Voong is that stylist - creative, artistic, expert and willing to meet your styling needs and encourage your dreams, whether you fall in love with one style or want to change with the seasons!! Done fighting with my hair 12/29/2011

I had my first appointment with Kiem this week. He listened to me about my needs, expectations, and wants about my hair. Then he worked his magic. He cut, colored, highlighted, and styled my hair so that it is natural for the way it grows...no more fighting to get it to do something that it can't! Kiem is a good teacher. As he styled my hair, he was coaching me on how I can do it myself. And it is low-maintenance, too! My first visit included a complimentary treatment. I'll pay for it next time! What a treat! So glad that I found Kiem and his conveniently-located salon!! more

I have been going to see Kiem for over a year now. I've NEVER been so impressed by a hair stylist before until I found Kiem. He is an amazing stylist that I would recommend to all my friends. Kiem always does an amazing job and helps to make my hair manageable. He really explains his approach thoroughly and regards your input. His experience is solid and he has a lot of insight. Most importantly, he LOVES what he does. I've never been to a stylist who was so passionate about his or her profession. I feel so lucky to have found him! more

THE best stylist EVER! 12/19/2011

I have been with Kiem for over a year now, and have had multiple services including cut and color. His work is absolutely supreme. The expertise he displays is phenomenal. He listens to what you want, offers knowledgeable advice and comes up with a plan which he discusses and implements fabulously. I have never been with a stylist who was so fun and loved his work so much. He is pleasant, not intimidating, and just grateful that you are in his chair. I cannot say enough about him, and would absolutely recommend him to the utmost degree! more

Kiem is the best hair stylist I have found in all of Indy.I found Kiem almost a years ago and have been traveling More then 70 Miles from the south side of Indianapolis all the way up north ever since! He got a incredibly talent to cut and colour as per your need.He always listen your wants and needs and make sure that when you leave him,you got a same style what you imaged when you enter. He a an awesome and caring person. He takes the time to get to know what you want and makes it happen.Thank you so much Kim. So Why you are waiting for BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TODAY WITH KIEM! Best stylist I have ever had 12/16/2011

It is very difficult to find someone who can cover gray when you have dark hair. Usually it is either too red or looks purple. Kiem is an excellent colorist and stylist who takes his time focusing on your needs. When I leave I know I will easily be able to recreate the style at home. He is an artist! more

Kiem does a great job with fine thin hair. I am an older client and he gives me a very nice managable cut that I can work with between cuts! In addition he is a very sweet man who will listen to your wants and concerns. I highly recommend Keim! more

My hair went from ""Nuh-uh"" to ""Oh Yeah"" in 2 hours 12/9/2011

I was so discouraged with hair stylists that I had been doing my own cut and box color for about 3 years. The ends had gotten almost black, which I hated, but I could not seem to correct it, my cut was basically long layers, but only looked good for an hour after washing and curling. more

Hair ""Do"" that says WOW! 12/5/2011

I am a hair stylist ""junkie"", always in search of a stylist who will listen to my thoughts as well and give his expert advice and suggestions. Kiem is exactly that. He sat down and we discussed my wants then he studied my facial features, head shape and hair texture. We then agreed on a style. Next stop was the shampoo bowl....that took my experiece to a whole new level. Kiem offers hot towels for the neck and a massage that lets you leave the day behind and enjoy the moment. I felt reassured of his skills as Kiem began to style my hair. I left the salon feeling ""sasse"" and am reassured of my ""do"" as the compliments on my hair keep coming. more

Indy's Best Hair Stylist! 12/5/2011

I'm a Brazilian who has very moody hair! After almost 10 years in America I'm finally 100% happy with my stylist. Before Kiem I always left the salon with an unhappy face and flew home to wash my hair and style it my way. That being said, after Kiem I always leave the salon feeling happy and refreshed. Not only he understands my hair needs but he knows what works best for me (he found the best color for my locks!). The head massage is AMAZING and I just want to stay there forever. I get compliments all the time and have lots of co-workers who became his clients too after I recommended his services!!! He is a must if you want to look beautiful and modern. Thanks Kiem, you rock! more

EXCELLENT HAIRSTYLIST 12/2/2011

I found reviews of Kiem when he was still at Splash and could only find positive reviews so I took my chance . Was that the best decision I ever made when it came to my hair!!!! Kiem does not only cut hair but he truly styles your hair the way you want it done which is what a hairstylist should be. I have a bob cut and have been to so many famous hairstylist in town who charges megabucks but has never been able to really give me a gorgeous bob cut considering I have very fine hair. He has excellent skills and listens to what you want . He is very consistent and I could even go 3 months without getting a haircut with my hair still looking good. more

Kiem Is A Magician! 12/1/2011

When I started seeing Kiem, my hair was fried and dull due to my unnatural obesession with having long, blonde hair. Kiem has worked magic through customized treatments and cuts all while allowing me to maintain long, blonde hair! My hair is now smooth, moisturized and so bouncy that family, friends and even my patients have complimented me on it! I know that his ""magic"" is actually education, experience and a genuine passion for manifesting great hair where there once was straw. His expertise literally ""shines"" through in my hair. Best men's haircut 11/27/2011

I have been using Kiem when he can fit me in for over two years now. What distances him from the rest is his knowledge of how each client's hair is going to react, the best look for that individual client, and his unique style. Also, I feel the price is reasonable considering the quality of his styling. more

Desi is AMAZING! 11/25/2011

I have curly hair & have just gotten used to having haircuts that were just ok. I went to see Desi at 7th Sky today and let her have free rein over whatever cut & color she thought would work best on me. Not only did Desi expertly pick the perfect highlight & low light colors, but the cut that she gave me is absolutely amazing! She took the time to actually individually separate out my individual curls and highlight/ low light them so that the colors looked natural & really popped with the cut that she designed. Seriously, when have you ever been to a salon where the stylist takes the time to individually color your curls?! The cut that Desi gave me is perfect. She cut off about 8"" of my hair...and again took the time to cut each individual curl so that it shone to its best potential. I have volume on top (which has been impossible to get in the past). I dont have the ""triangle head"" syndrome. I love it! Like the other reviews on here said, the scalp massage that you get during your shampoo & conditioning are AMAZING! Honestly, just the shampoo & conditioning with massage alone are totally worth a trip here! The chair has massage in it as well. So relaxing! Desi is also an expert at waxing, mani's and pedi's. I love my shellac mani's, my eyebrows looks great. There is nothing about Desi that I do not love & I look forward to all of my other appointments that I will have with her! 7th Sky comes HIGHLY recommended! more

Make an appointment with Kiem today! 11/22/2011

Kiem Voong is an amazing hair stylist. I'm so glad I found him and you will be too. I have naturally curly hair which is difficult to cut and style. Since going to Kiem my hair is a lot healthier! I have been seeing Kiem for nearly two years now. About a year ago I decided to have my hair straightened with the Brazillian straightening system. I'm not sure that is what it's exactly called but it has been a miracle for my unruly hair. Kiem has extensive experience with this hair treatment and I am so grateful he introduced me to it. If you have had a difficult time finding a quality hair stylist I highly recommend Kiem Voong. He is professional, highly knowledgeable and friendly. I will be going to Kiem for as long as he is cutting hair! more
