BRAVO!! 1/3/2003

If you truly want the BEST Mexican Food, this is the place to go in Mexican town! They have a huge menu selection, and a huge restaurant, we have never had to wait for a table. Service is always great, with an ample staff to make sure your dining experience is great! Try one of the many combo plates, you will get a little bit of everything, and you will still need a take home box! And if you order ice tea, they bring your glass along with a pitcher, so you don't have to keep bugging your server! Pros: Food is Great, Inexpensive, Service is Great Cons: Hard to find, Margaritas average more

not good 10/22/2002

Slow service. Chips and salsa tasted like cardboard. It was so bad, we left before ordering. more

THE BEST IN MEXICAN TOWN 10/7/2002

The BEST!! How else to describe it. Great prices, tons of food at top quality, and fast service in a clean atmosphere. Mexican food being my favorite, I'm pretty critical on this type of food and I have ZERO complaints about this place. Large facility means short wait times even with the line out the door. Visit this place every Friday. Recomend the Village Combo or the Burazzo!! Oh, and the Fried Ice Cream is to die for!! Pros: Serving Size, Atmosphere, Friendly Staff Cons: hotsauce not real hot more

A Little Bit of Mexico in Detroit 10/2/2002

When we have guests in town we take them to the Mexican Village Restaurant. The service has been lightning fast and the food was exceptional. The one negative is the location, although we are familiar with Downtown and the Mexican Village, the surrounding area is not that appealing. Pros: Very Fast Service, Great Food, Great Value Cons: Sketchy Location more
