Interesting 6/9/2006

I visited Mesa Verde National Park when I was ten years old. My aunt took my sister and I on a cross-country trip one summer and this was one of the stops. I remember being amazed that people had built these houses into the cliffs and weren't afraid to climb the steep steps to get to them. Even now when I look at pictures, I remember how cool they were (and how I'd never want to live there!) more

Didn't like it that much.. 12/12/2005

After our fall color trip to Durango and Cortez, we decided to visit the Mesa Verde National park. It was interesting to see the settlements but the problem was that the tours were a bit strenuous. After 2 tours, we were really tired and decided to skip the rest. This is definitely not a place for those who have health problems. Also you should be able to appreciate the archaeological significance of the place. Otherwise you’ll be disappointed with the visit. more

Good 11/17/2005

This is a national park with archeological significance. You can see the Indian dwellings at this park. For most of the settlements, you need to take the guided tours. The tours are bit strenuous and so people with health problems cannot take the tours. So if you are healthy and fit and are interested in seeing ancient dwellings, then you can visit the Mesa Verde National park. Otherwise you’ll not be happy with your visit. more
