After Toyota quoted me some $500-600 for an exhaust leak, the cost of which didn't even cover a major problem they missed, I took my car to Merlin's. Merlin's fixed two issues that I knew about, for a total of $160. The car was still making noise, so I returned after the weekend, and they found a major exhaust problem that Toyota missed. Jay, the manager, called me over to look at the car and explained what was wrong. Rather than replacing a major portion of the exhaust system, they cut out a portion and welded in a new piece, saving me likely hundreds of dollars. So my total price at Merlin's was $215 to completely fix the problem, compared to $500-600 at Toyota, which wouldn't have fixed it. Furthermore, the staff was professional, courteous, and quick with their work. Communication was good. I will definitely be returning to Merlin's as well as recommend it to my friends.
Pros: Excellent value for the money, friendly, seem honest.
Cons: Missed a big problem the first time, but got it right the second.
