INFECTION WAS SENT IN AMBULANCE FROM DOCTOR'S OFFICE TO HOSPITAL. WHEN I CALLED THEY HAD HER SITTING OUTSIDE - O U T S I D E - IN THE PARKING LOT WITH AN IV IN HER ARM. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. THE ER SAID SHE HAD BEEN EVALUATED AND THERE WERE 50 PEOPLE IN ER WAITING. WTH, IF THEY CAUSE MY DAUGHTER TO GET MORE ILL OR WORSE I WILL FLIP OUT. DO NOT GO THERE IS MY OPINION. EVER. EVEN HER DR. IS ANGRY. THEY ARE THE WORST. more

women's heart attack 8/6/2009

Did not recognize Mother's heart problem. They ran $10,000 worth of test, left Mother in the hallway of the emergency room, sent her home at 12:30 AM. She died at 5:30 AM in the ambulance on her way back to the hospital. more

Expect A Long Wait 9/28/2005

Mercy San Juan Hospital's Emergency Room staff is extremely knowledgable, and they really take a long time with each patient getting to the source of your injuries. Although this is great while you're being treated, be prepared to wait a VERY long time unless your doctor has called in ahead to let them know that you're coming. I went in there to be rehydrated this summer for hyperemesis and got in right away because my doctor had called. I was STILL in there for over seven hours! more

Don't go to the Emergency Room 9/28/2005

After a broom hockey incident, I was taken to this Emergency Room. The wait was FOREVER! Like a couple of hours. Then, when I was seen, I could see why. They take the time to take good care of each patient, and make sure that you're getting the best care. So, the staff is great, but the wait is LONG. Make an appointment before you go! more
