Park was horrible. People were getting drunk and partying all night long. When a neighbor became violent toward his spouse and child, there was no ranger on duty, no cell phone signal, no working pay phone, and the campground host was kind, but difficult to find at 1 a.m. This resulted in numerous police cars arriving 1 1/2 hours after the incident, at which time perpetrator was passed out. In talking with native Missourians we found the park had a reputation. We'll never go back. Park should either be properly staffed or shut down.
