Good ribs--high price 8/2/2009

For what I got, the price for the full-r@ck(17.50) was way too high. It was very good, though. The meat literally fell off the bone, the taste was good and juicy. But you can go to Martins store and buy a large r@ck and get some Jack Daniel barbecue sauce then go get a 6-pak and do it yourself for half the price. I will try Mels chicken next. Pros: Falls off the bone, good flavor Cons: Way too high price!! more

Best ribs in town!!!! 3/14/2007

Was welcomed by Shelly, owner of Mel's Ribs, as soon as I crossed the threshold of the entrance. Ver y friendly staff. And good lookin also I might add. Food was great. Big A** Burgers are very big and very tasty. Ribs are the best I've tasted in a very long time. Huge portions of food, which I've come to learn are all home made recipes. Very comfortable dining room atmosphere. Smells are wonderful. Very tempting dessert case to look at at soon as you walk in the store. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes pork or chicken. Pros: Best food in the area. Cons: Location more
