Awesome!!!! I went in for a simple oil change and the gentlemen tells me I need brakes. I was a bit skeptical but he took me out to my van and showed me the brakes, I could clearly see there was nothing left to them. I was still skeptical when they told me the price so I said I had to call my husband and went outside. I called Kost, Jack Williams and Midas for a comparison and they were all at least $70 higher and did not include a lifetime warranty as Meineke does. 40 minutes later I was back on the road with a good deal for brakes and an oil change!!! more

Very good customer service. The manager did everything he could to save me money while doing the job the right way. Technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. They made every effort to keep my car clean. Nice atmosphere. I would recommend them for any job, large or small. The price on maintenance such as getting a oil change is so low its pointless to do it myself. more

Awesome place, took my 01 audi s4 in for a vibration when turning. All the other places I tried didn't know the cause and kept telling me that it was my tires out of balance. Meineke found out that my front cv axles were jumping, and that was causing the vibration. They fixed it up quick, affordable and gave me a lifetime warranty. Great place, definitely going to come back for any other issues and recommend anyone looking for a good shop to check them out. more

I was forced to give at least one star. They should not even get one. My husband took my car here for inspection..forgetting the horrible experience we'd had years ago..he said.. It passed inspection. They had to replace the bulbs in the running lights. Simple enough. Just a couple of clips hold up the covers for those lights...under the bumper. They did not put the clips back on..so less then a day later I hear this awful sound coming from up front....and drove right home. I knew what it was and called my regular mechanic. One cover is already cracked, no clips.... I have to have the car towed so no further damage is done. The covers go for about 150. Each. Meinike did this on purpose. This time I don't care if it's onky 50 cents...they are paying the bill. No, I will not take it back there so they can make it "right" they will try to charge me.........don't go here ever, anyone. I can't believe my husband actually took my car there. more

Horrible!!! I brought my wife's car this past weekend for an oil change,tore rotation and to plug a tire that had a nail in it...discovered last night that they did a horrible job fixing the tire...it was down 10 pounds in a day..and imagine my surprise when I went to fill the tire and realized that it hadn't been rotated!! Even though I was charged for both...so now I'm questioning if they even changed the damn oil!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Unless you enjoy being ripped off and jerked around!! more

I saw an oil change on Pocono Record's website for $9.99. It took about a half hour and was a great deal. Will definitely return!! more

I have been going to Meineke for 3 years now and have nothing but good experiences more

meineke car care center\r 1611 north 9 street suite 100\r Stroudsburg Pa 18360 store # 691 \r \r \r On 9-14 2013 I was recommended by an employee to bring my car\r to Meineke for a Clutch replacement. They took the car apart then they called and said they quoted the wrong price. They tried to double the price from $600.00 to $1200.00. After arguing back and forth, we agreed on $800.00 with an additional replacement of the motor mounts included. I was satisfied with that arrangement. Then Meineke decided it was to much work and did not do the motor mounts. 2 weeks later I have a leak so I called them, the manager said he would tow the car in and take of it. Once their he called me and told me that now the Slave Cylinder is not good because they had replaced the clutch with a heavy duty one. They quoted a price of $240.00 for a new slave cylinder and labor for $99.00. He then told me that he knew he should of changed it from the beginning but didn't want to. By not replacing it with a new one and then re-installing it improperly with the old part, it caused the part to break. I decided to take the car home. I took the slave cylinder out and found that it was all apart, my drive axles were also loose and missing lock washers. When I asked the manager why, he blamed me because I changed the tires. This is very Lousy Customer Service. I called Corporate but I have had no response. I left 3 messages. more

These guys should be sued. The first time I brought my car there for tires they broke my tire pressure monitor. Then made me pay for it and it never worked. The second time I brought it , I left with an exhaust leak i did not have when i brought it in. The third time, by the time i got home the engine was misfiring and the check engine light came on. Upon further inspection found the spark plug tube where the plug boot goes was filled all the way to the top with used motor oil. I will see what course of action I can take against these guys. more

RIPOFF. They changed the oil on one of my daughters cars and sent it out 1 and a half quarts low on oil. Good thing I checked it before she left to go back to school. Ripped us off for the price of the oil change. Called to cry about it and got an arrogant piece of trash from NY on the other end of the phone. Go back to Ny you rippoffs Your place is not even worth urinating in. more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO MEINKE IN STROUDSBURG PA. THEY LYE AND TELL YOU YOUR CAR HAVE ALL TYPES OF PROBLEMS. WHEN YOU GO TO THE DEALER AND THEY CHECK YOUR CAR THROUGHLY, THEY DON'T FIND ANY OF THE PROBLEMS MEINKE CLAIMS. THEY SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR ROBBING PEOPLE. THEY CLAIM TO DO REPAIRS THAT NEVER EXISTED? more
