The manager falsified info to make it look like he did work on my car, and here is the email from the corporate Meineke to prove it! To give you a review of what happened first:
Took my car to Meineke in OR for work. I had zero, again zero, problem with the power steering or any noises related to it. They said upon inspection it needed to be ""fixed"" so I agreed. Well about less than 1 1/2 months later my car starts making horrible noises when I turn. I think it is related to the CV joint. I moved to CA and take it this joke of a business. First, since I lived in Berkeley I called this idiot to make sure my car could be looked at and fixed the same day. Idiot manager said bring it in we can fix it. So I drive from Berkeley to there. I wait 45 minutes to be checked in. I leave for the day. By 5 pm I had heard nothing from their dumb selves so I decided to call them. The manager said my car had not even been test driven, and would not be looked at that day. Wow, I went fairly crazy because he is sending me on the highway with a sick car that has not been diagnosed. I ripped him a new one. He begged me to let's go for a test drive at almost 6 pm. l agreed because I wanted to make sure the car was safe to get back on the highway. Turns out it was my power steering that was causing the noise. I had no power steering fluid in my car even though Meineke in OR ""fixed"" it. They fixed it so well that all the power steering fluid drained out for the first time ever!! So the idiot put power steering fluid in my car, and I got outta there. Well the noise has come back so I take it somewhere reputable, and they give me an estimate and say the pump that Meineke replace in OR is leaking. I contacted the corporate office because I had trouble with Meineke one other time with them giving me an estimate for work that did not need to be done. (should have my first clue that they are ALL corrupt and incompetent)
Here is the response from corporate:
""However, based on what I have been presented this appears to be a parts failure and nothing more. ""
But here is the catch. The idiot at Concord told this corporate guy that they did replace my power steering pump again!! And the idiot manager said he didn't charge me or the OR Meineke, so I guess that's why their is no paper trail? Wouldn't I of had to sign something? This dude is crazy. He barely even looked at my car, and it still makes noise, yet he said he did free work. Here is the email claiming I already got free work from the Concord shop that actually only test drove my car at like 5:45 pm.
""The manager of the store told be he charged neither you or the Happy Valley location for replacing a leaking power steering hose. In speaking with the manager of the Concord store he knew the vehicle, and remembered you were from the Berkley area. I understand you feel the Concord location performed no work but they say they did.""

So Bruce Clark called me a liar. I want him to read these reviews, and then think about who has integrity and who doesn't.
