I have never felt the urge to post a review about a place but the horrendous treatment I received from these folks has prompted me to post this review. I purchased a safe from Megasafe three years ago. At the time of purchase, my husband and I discussed with the saleperson all of the various options in great depth. We told them that the primary purose of the sale was to store jewelry. They recommended some safes and sold us a heavy duty safe that cost over $2000. We told them that we lived in a rental building (ground floor) and asked when we moved if they could come and move the safe. No problem they said. We confirmed this information multiple times as we knew that we would obviously not be living in this same apartment forever.\r

We have now purchased a house and called up MegaSafe to get them to move the safe to our new house. Now, they tell us that the will not move the safe up and down any stairs because it is too heavy (750lbs). There is no way into or out of our house that does not involve some amount of stairs. I expressed my displeasure over the fact that they did not tell us at the time we purchased the safe that they would not carry it up or down stairs and the response from MegaSafe was that it was ""not foreseeable"" that we would want to take the safe up or down stairs. The MegaSafe representative thnm offered to come and pick up the safe and take it in trade if we wanted to buy a new safe from him that they would carry up the stairs. The trade in value for the safe three years later? $200. Needless to say we have found someone else who is moving the safe.\r

These people are crooks. Do not do business with them.
