We lost $2,000 with this place. I think they want you to cancel. The place is in the Wet and Wild parking lot. Some of the rooms stink, the white pavillion thing has yellow pee colored markings. At first they told us they could do our wedding for $6,000. They said the only thing we would have to pay for is pictures, and a DJ. Then we found out it didn't cover flowers, table linens. Which cost an extra $3,000. If we wanted the guest to have something besides water and unsweeted tee that would be extra. And this was for a 50 person wedding.\r We canceled and they sent us a letter saying that they were keeping all of our money. This place is just too beautiful to be run by IDIOTS! The owner is such a snob! I went in to check the place out for my engagement and I felt so uncomfortable the whole time I was there. Despite the beauty of the place, I just couldn't do it! Also, I was going to pay for EVERY SINGLE DETAIL! There was NOTHING complimentary! The cheapest, most simplest detail that would cost me only 5 bucks A TABLE, was to put tea light candles on each table.. CANDLES! Thank GOD I read all of the reviews online before making a final decision! I cant imagine a bride having her wedding there and it being the biggest mistake of her life. Its disappointing for a team to be so inexperienced to run a beautiful place like this. more

It has been almost 6 months since my wedding and I am still not completely over the fact that this place messed up my wedding and I can NEVER change that. The turn over seems to be pretty high, so even though we were comfortable with the wedding planner the venue provided (the reason we even signed up there), we got a new one just over 30 days before the event. And let me tell you - MICHAEL WAS AWFUL!!! I was already told that if there were a lot of guests missing, as it was on a Friday night, they would talk to me and wait 5, 10, 15 minutes. Well, I was not aware, but one of my bridal party asked Michael if we could start 5 minutes late as a lot of guests were missing and he said NO! More importantly, he forgot to send my ring bearer and flower girl down the aisle! I honestly dont know if he forgot, or he was trying to save time, but I am devastated to this day! I look at the pictures and I see them sitting at the top of the stairs all by themselves! Their parents were in the wedding and they were told to sit just inside the doors and wait until they were called. I still cant look at the pictures of walking down the aisle and seeing my babies sitting there with no one they knew around them! My DJ even commented on how Michael ONLY seemed to care about keeping his precious schedule! I took it up with the owner but she just came up with a bunch of excuses. Basically, she threw it back on me and my bridal party requests, which were 3- a toothpick, a safety pin, and some reserved signs for some of the tables. I Dont think that is too much too handle! She gave me a check for just over $600. When my total expenses with them were just under 20K! Yeah, thanks. I can never get that day back. I am trying to focus on the fact that God brought me the MOST AMAZING husband. But to any ladies out there looking for a venue- beware! This place is gorgeous, but if you have an issue, the owner is not nice. I had seen other reviews and knew that going in, but my original coordinator had assured me that I wouldnt have to deal with her. I truly felt comfortable with my original coordinator. I didnt even think that could change. more

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding at the Villa in July. The wedding was gorgeous. And the bride's planner, Angie, made everything run smoothly. The flowers for the reception were gorgeous and we all had a great time. If I wasn't married already I would've had my wedding here. I saw the venue online and decided to drive by after work. Who in the world would want to get married off the highway with all the construction and trash flying by? It took me like 3 times to find the gate...its smushed between like a holiday inn and a motel...you don't even know its there. That was enough for me to take a u-turn. more

The place is entirely disorganized. Who wants all the drama on their big day. Elizabeth just wants you to book. It seems like they really don't care! There never seems to be someone who is able to follow through. Major false advertising on cakes, photos and more. Well like the others I had trouble getting in touch with my planner, then a month before my wedding, I was made aware that my planner quit. But the bad news didn't come from the company, instead it was made aware when I just decided to drop in. No one ever returned emails, and they wouldn't even deviate from the menu. After all of the problems. I just decided to have my wedding there and moved my reception down the street to the Bella Stanza (They Did awesome and the food and prices were to die for) 715 Ryan Plaza Dr Ste 102, Arlington, TX 76011 (817) 459-2779. During my rehearsal it was a disaster, the new planner they assigned me didn't know what he was doing, he wouldn't do want I wanted b/c he thought he had the greatest ideas. Mediterranean Villa destroyed my wedding big time. JoAnne was my wedding coordinator and she pretty much demanded that I don?t use outside vendors. She started out nice at 1st, telling me and my husband that it was ok if 10-15 more quest show up at the wedding. Because with less people you was paying more per plate. They didn?t have red cake tape to go on the cake, so they asked to go buy some if I wanted it. The day of the wedding before I had walked down. JoAnne demanded $500.00 extra because 15 more quest had showed up.\r I asked her if she could just take it out of our deposit since we had already paid her in full. They made my quest stand at the wedding ceremony and took up the tables and chairs from them. During the cake cutting for the pictures, the knife wouldn?t cut through the cake because Jo Anne had placed a fake cake on the table. The grooms cake was dry and over cooked. And after all of that they still took my deposit. If you are reading this...plz don?t use this place..they are so rude and money hungry. more

I had my heart set on this venue because it SEEMED to offer everything...a chapel, ballroom, food, flowers...the works. BUT when I deposited and began business with this place I QUICKLY learned I made a HUGE MISTAKE! The Sales Representative that was working on my wedding was not a professional wedding coordinator as they originally promised me. She had NO EXPEIRENCE in wedding planning. When I showed up for appointments, they were VERY UNORGANIZED, my file was lost more than once, I was rushed to make decisions...even PRESSURED to make decisions I was not happy with. My appointments were regularly cancelled even though I told them I would be traveling out of town to meet with them. When I showed up for a food tasting, none of the food was ready and to make matters worse, when the food was brought out, it wasn't what I requested for the menu at my wedding. My phone calls AND emails WERE NEVER RETURNED; I had to drive to the venue to get someone to talk to me. It got to the point where I decided this place DID NOT DESERVE MY HARD-EARNED MONEY so I booked with a different venue.
