Med Now

I took my wife in on a Sunday morning to the Mednow Urgent Care Clinic on Aspen in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma after a sleepless night due to a sinus infection and chest congestion. After filling out the paper work and paying for our copayment, we sat down to wait. After about 45 minutes, we noticed that the patients being called were those who had arrived after us. I went up and asked the receptionist about this. She replied, in a rather huffy tone, that those going before us were ESTABLISHED patients. I may be wrong, but I thought that Urgent Care Clinics usually were first come, first served businesses. As my wife was feeling worse and we had no idea how many more ESTABLISHED patients might come in, we got our money back and went elsewhere. Unfortunately, this means we will never become ESTABLISHED patients of Mednow. \r more

I've taken my fiancee there and her treatment was okay and we didn't have to wait too long.\r \r On the flip side of the coin, I started working a temp-to-hire position there and after a week, it was a mutual feeling of not being a good fit for either of us. Since that time, the supervisor who brought me on, resigned and one of my friends who got a permanent job is now looking elsewhere. \r \r Why? Poor training and terrible management. It's pretty easy to see because THEY'RE ALWAYS HIRING. Either they're growing exponentially or they can't keep anyone (I'm leaning towards the latter). All I can say, don't ever work there... more

I went to Med Now for a back injury, I waited 2 hours to be brought back in the room and than another 45 minutes for the doctor to see me. I was prescribed medicine that later i found i had negative reactions to. i called the office to speak with a nurse and was told they would call me back. Four hours later i recieved a call. The nurse told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to deal with the pain. They were extremely rude and not helpful in the least bit.
