In ShortSpotlights mean you can play basketball or street hockey here into the evening but, oddly, the two baseball/softball fields aren't lit. Street hockey fans will have to bring their own nets or use the painted outline for a goal. City of Boston parks and playgrounds are open all year. You'll need a permit to play on the baseball and softball fields.
