First off this review will be read. McGeorge monitors the reviews very closely. I have a feeling there will be a response from Bob Farlow. Everything that I have read on this site that is negative is exactly what I have experienced and then some. Just think if you bought a brand new vehicle and have had limited use on it. The motor has been pulled apart twice on it. Lied to repeatedly, given vague answers to questions or refuses to answer questions about the repairs on your vehicle. I'm not into much detail but if you buy a vehicle from them and it turns out to be a problem your on your own unless you contact corporate. It's not Toyotas fault it's how this place is run. Lying to the customer is not a good idea. I couldn't count how many lies were told to me. From the service manager, sales manager, all the way to the GM. \r I've had the sales manager call me up and jump all over me by phone he did it the other day in person lied to me about the whereabouts of the GM. Horrible Service Wait Times 7/3/2012

The service department is horrible. I came in for an oil change around 1 PM, and now its 6 PM, and still waiting. I truly regret making this appointment. more

Love my Camry 2/15/2012

I bought a new camry se in 2011 and had a great experience. Sean really helped me find the car that I wanted with the upgrades that I wanted (satellite radio, USB, rear camera, sunroof, etc). I had a tough time deciding between 2 camrys and Sean was really patient with me as I went back and forth. I'd recommend McGeorge to anyone and appreciate the service and friendliness of the sales team and the service department. more

Awesome Car Buying and Service Experiences 2/14/2012

I have now purchased 2 Toyota Highlanders at McGeorge Toyota and have been incredibly pleased with the customer service, follow-up and attention to detail. Both times, the sales person helped me find the right vehicle with the elements and price I wanted. Additionally, I have utilized the service department for both vehicles and have received outstanding service. For the standard maintenance items, they have had me in and out quickly and always ensured that I was informed of any delays or changes in the timeframe. For more extensive servicing, they have given realistic estimates on time, have provided thorough information on the costs and needs and have ensured that I was aware of any items that I may need to address in the future. The service customer service has been great and I appreciate the follow-up calls and emails to ensure that I have had a positive experience. Whenever I've had any suggestions for improvement/enhancement, they have genuinely listened to my comments. Fi more

Worst service 12/4/2011

Worst service ever. Service rep Mike said 3 hours and then returned car after 7 hours. I kept on calling and leaving voice message but no one returned call. For a normal oil change, I was charged nearly $200. Worst was when I found that not even the air pressure of any 4 tires was checked. I had to fill tire air myself. I totally doubt complete service too. more

Terrible buying experience at McGeorge Toyota 9/11/2010

Worst buying experience. We had agreed on a price for a Yaris and they gave us a purchase agreement with the exact bottom line price including $1000 new grad rebate from Toyota. They made us sign all kinds of papers to secure the deal and asked us to submit proof of employment during the next two days. Within two days we submitted proof of employment for the new grad who has a job 35 hours/week. When we called to verify they had received the information, they said the salesperson we had dealt with was no longer there and they had no record of any paperwork. When we provided copies of the paperwork they said that we could not obtain the rebate because "35 hours/week is not a full time job", which is nonsense and not Toyota Financial Services policy (http://behindthewheelnews.toyota.com/college/). We had Toyota call them. Minutes later they called us back and gave us another reason that we could not get the rebate, which was insufficient income. This is again nonsense for a $200/month p more

Shockingly Bad Buying Experience 7/5/2010

We didn't think of ourselves as undesirable customers - wanting to pay cash for a 2011 Toyota Camry. McGeorge Toyota apparently felt otherwise. My wife and I were insulted. The salesman we drew was exceedingly rude - a real jerk. I guess McGeorge sells so much inventory that they don't care if they make any one customer mad. They think you should pay whatever price they set initially. Too bad for me since McGeorge has the largest selection of Camrys on the lot in the Richmond area. We ended up walking out furious and buying at Mechnicsville Toyota. Just use McGeorge to look at whatever cars you are interested in, take your test drives, and get prices to use to whittle down another nicer Toyota dealer. Mechanicsville Toyota was very good to deal with, although they didn't have a lot of new Camrys on the lot to choose from. We took Mcgeorge's quote for $24,600 (all inclusive including all fees and taxes, out-the-door) for a 2011 Camry 4 cylinder car to Mechanicsville Toyota and bought fo more

Great car, worst service Department 7/1/2010

Toyota...great car. Dealership...great people. Service Department...HORRIBLE. Will never do business there again. If you buy one of these great cars, I would avoid McGeorge or you will have to deal with the worst service department in the Richmond area. Not only was the service not done right the first few times...then they would not return calls. This has happened several times over a few years, and I guess that's my fault for ever trusting they would change. Buy a Toyota, just not from McGeorge or you'll be sorry! more

STAY AWAY...STAY FAR AWAY!!! 4/15/2010

IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION, I WOULD CHOOSE IT....STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! They tried to bait and switch financing on a new Scion. They said the new car would be ready and when we went to get it at the time we were told, the car was not ready due to a problem with the Toyota financing program. NO ONE called us to let us know in advance that more was needed for the financing!! Instead we showed up to pick up our new car only to be told more was needed!!!!! John Ward screwed up sending the finance documents via UPS to the wrong address. John Ward in financing is a worthless idiot. STAY AWAY!!! Too many screw ups...no one knows what they are doing....bait and switch...lack of professionalism....yeah, just the kind of dealership to STAY AWAY from!!!!!!!!!! more

The worst place ever to service your car. After you schedule an appointment they never confirm it and you have no clue if you have it or not. I would stay away from them as far as you can. From now on my wife and I service cars at Firestone. more

very good 11/2/2005

This is the best toyota dealer I have met. They just moved recently to west of broard street. Their office and work lab are new and spacious. The change oil service can be done in 1 hour if you didn't make appointment and go there directly. They will have a convenient car to take you to pick up your car once the service done. What I need say is they really improved their services! more

Give it a try ! 9/13/2005

I personally would not recommend this dealership. The prices are sky high and the dealers are not great to deal with. I went to search for a Pre-Owned vehicle and decided to buy a new one in any other dealership. The vehicle prices are not on par either with Kellys blue book value or Edmunds. They have huge selection of vehicles but when it comes to price its higher than most of the other dealerships. more
