I must tell you the day before my appointment I went to your website to check on details. There were some bad comments and I seriously considered cancelling my appointment. I am so happy I did not. I was *VERY* pleased with the way my appointment went. I thoroughly enjoyed Angela. She really put me at ease. more

Dr. Habecker 10/20/2010

I have been going to Dr. Habecker for many years. I am not the easiest case. He has worked tirelessly to answer my questions, and to educate me, so that together we can come up with a plan for my care. At this point I would not go to anyone but him. more

Nurse Practitioners are great, front desk staff is NOT 9/1/2010

It's such a shame that the front desk staff ruins the great work done by the doctors and nurse practitioners. Making an appointment is always a painful process. The staff is quick to say they don't have any appointments even before they start looking at the computer. I was told they don't have an opening for 2 months. When you are checked in they review your info loud enough for the whole waiting room to hear. Your social security number, DOB, the reason for your visit, your job, and address. I was there every 2 weeks for 4 months and every 2 weeks I had to review the same information. This process was time consuming and invasive. It pains me to say because my doctor was so good but I will be finding a new practice because of the front desk staff. more

Worst Care Ever 8/30/2010

Went to May Grant Assoc. with my 7th pregnancy after moving to the area from another state. I am a high risk pregnancy due to multiple c-sections as well as a history of babies with heart defects. The staff, docs & nurses never knew what was going on, they never ordered tests that they said they would, they seemed to careless about me or my baby. I couldn't ever see an actual doctor if my life depended on it, and given the risk of my pregnancy I should have only seen doctors not nurses. It was like getting an appointment with the president of the United States to even see a doctor. Of all of my pregnancies this was the absolute WORST care I have ever recieved. On top of it all the lazy medical assistants would leave confidential information sitting around for the world to see! Unfriendly, uncaring, unpersonalized care. At one point the med asst could not find the baby's heart beat and didn't seem to care or even look into it further, weeks later via ultrasound I found out the baby had died weeks prior!!!! LAZY & WORTHLESS STAFF!!! Beware!! more

Very Courteous and Kind 6/29/2009

I found the May Grant association after becoming pregnant with my second child. I find the nurses and midwives very caring and knowledgeable. They always try their best to make every visit comfortable and relaxed and they always give a little bit of themselves when talking with them. I ask a lot of questions and have always had each question answered immediately, or if they did not have the answer they always got back to me quickly. I do extensive research on my own and have always found them to be truthful and right on par with my own research. Thank you. Pros: Kind nurses and midwives more

Very professional, caring 10/10/2007

After several years of TTC and several miscarriages, we searched a 3 county area for an OB/GYN practice and ended up with May, Grant Associates. They have always been caring and concerned about our issues, and through fertility treatments, we are pregnant and further than we ever were before. They have been great at scheduling last minute appointments, answering our questions/concerns! We've been told they are the ""best"" OB practice in the Lancaster/Dauphin/Lebanon area....we definately agree! Pros: quality of care, scheduling Cons: Can't think of any more

Educate Yourself 7/15/2007

Please be forewarned that you will need to educate yourself before you enter this building. Although they have an attachment to the Lancaster General Health Campus, and have valet parking, I would strongly urge you to visit, hersfoundation, on the internet, to view the free educational video ""Female Anatomy"" before you step one foot in their door. Pros: In the Lancaster General Health Campus Cons: Educate Yourself more

Dr. Melvin Habecker comes highly recommended 3/7/2006

Dr. Melvin Habecker has been by doctor since 1999. He delivered my first child in February 2000 at the Women's and Babies Hospital, Lancaster, PA. Even though now I only see him on my annual visits he still keeps tabs on my goings on. He asks how my little one, now 6, is doing and if there is anything that is concerning me. He offers simple solutions to minor issues, and is always very courteous. Thank you for listening. Pros: Valet Parking more
