Maxwell's At The Coast

We went to Lincoln City for girls weekend! We went here on the second night we were down there and went to the casino the third...decided to leave the casino because it wasn't good at all (went back to Maxwell's). Maxwell's was a great local place where everyone got along and made us feel very welcome! Drinks were great, food was great, music....depended on who was singing but all in good spirit! We couldn't have asked for a better crowd!!! Had a blast, can't wait til next yr!!!!! more

I must say I wouldn't send anyone I actually cared about to this bar. The food was poor quality, service was slow, bartender (male, not female) was extremely rude and slow. Found out later that this same extremely rude bartender was the manager on duty....actually chuckled at that thought....you?? You manage people?? Really??? You couldn't pay me enough to work for someone like that. Then to make all of this worse the KJ couldn't sing but thought she could and she was only putting her friends up to sing, which is fine but after being there for 3 hours (mind you it wasn't that busy) and only being brought up to sing once seems a bit ridiculous. \r \r I can honeslty say WE WILL NOT go back to Maxwell's, there is NOTHING good that I can say about this place. more

The finer points of maxwells... 1) the weakest drink I've ever been served 2) paying a premium price for it 3) the bartender didn't bother to give me my change from a 10 after I ordered a 2.75 bottle of pabst 4) the KJ bit my head off because someone else already sang the song I put up (Before I got there) 5) Even when there was NO ONE else at the bar, I had to wait 5 minutes for the rude bartender to help me 6) when there were more than 3 people at the bar, it was a 20 minute wait for a drink. Aside from the crappy service, you can expect to hang out with a bunch of elderly regulars and 21 year old punks here. Pros: karaoke Cons: VERY RUDE staff, weak overpriced drinks more
