Maxim Limousine

I originally posted a review detailing the laborious process in which I was placated into submission by a management staff who would always seem to be ""out of office"" or would ""call me back"" in January this year. I had set up a round-trip package for my girlfriends birthday and gave a credit card to reserve. I let them know I was going to pay in cash, and I was told I would not be charged on my card. Our driver was nice, albeit odd since we got pulled over on our way home, and the female police officers told us she believed our driver to be impaired. He passed whatever test they administered, and we were dropped off at home. Good night, except for a few weeks later I was charged two times for the service. Once for pick up, and another for the return home. I contacted them immediately, and they removed the first charge rather quickly, but had neglected to removed the latter, knowing I had paid in cash both times. They kept putting me off, and then new excuses of the driver was no longer an employee, and they had to verify somehow that he was paid in cash because there was no system in place for this? This kept on for over a month, with continued phone calls in, and always being told someone would contact me, but never did. I'm assuming they just thought if they waited it out, I would forget about it, but the more time that goes on with this, the more frustrating it is. Although I had no complaints about the service, the ethics and lack of follow through on the customer service end when it was clear what had happened is infuriating. I would not recommend this service, and would think twice before reserving anything on your credit card. more

The best experience I have ever had with a limo service in Scottsdale . I called every limousine service in Scottsdale and MAXIM Limo has the best customer service. I asked for a quote and it was very reasonable price. They did not over sell me and were extremely polite. After shopping around with a few more limos in Scottsdale , I chose them. I had an amazing birthday thanks to Maxim. They recommended and booked my dinner reservations for me and my husband that evening. While I was at dinner, I had an insane craving for Guinness beer. I text messaged the driver and he made sure there was a 12 pack in the vehicle when I finished dinner! We rented the stretch expedition and it was unbelievable! I was given a free upgrade from the lincoln town car I had reserved as a special birthday suprise. They stocked the vehicle with water and soda. Just about everything was perfect. We loved our driver and he knew all the best places to go. They even got us into some of the clubs for free. It was a bachelorette party and they put cute little decorations in the vehicle. So much fun!!! Pros: VIP, nice driver Cons: That the night couldn't last longer more

Maxim Limousine service is outstanding. I use their service quite often and have never had a problem with them in my 4 years having an account with them. I had many problems with other limo comapanys in Arizona. Their chauffeurs are very courteous, clean and great. There vehicles are new and clean with amenities. They know where you?re going and always on time in unformed and chauffeur real look sharp. As for the girls in there office, they are outstanding. Always friendly and very helpful. I rented a party bus for my husbands 50th birthday in October 2008. I was told that it was brand new, beautiful etc. The bus that arrived had tape covering rips in the seats so that made me curious but was not a big deal. The driver and his assistant were real nice guys but admitted they had just moved here from Washington and did not know their way around. For that reason I sat in the front seat to give directions and missed being able to visit with the guests during the bus ride. The driver did not know how to hook an ipod into the sound system but fortunately one of the guests figured it out so we could have music during the ride. We rented the bus for 4 hours. Plenty of time to get from East Mesa to Saguaro Lake. We chartered a boat at Saguaro Lake for a one and half hour dinner cruise. The bus never made it over about 35 miles an hour so the trip took forever!! After the boat ride, which by the way, the driver and assistant joined us on so they got a $30.00 dinner complete with DRINKS!! - we all got back on the bus and the driver could not manuever the turn to get out of the parking lot so he put the bus in reverse and then was NOT able to get it out of reverse for about 30 - 45 minutes. The driver kept getting calls on his cell phone from the party that he was supposed to be picking up at a bar in Tempe. Clearly he had been double booked. more

Ok, so we took the Chrysler 300M that Maxim has to our prom this Saturday...it was sooooooooo fun!! The floor literally lights up like a disco and my friends and I were all laughing while the guys were trying to breakdance after prom!!! The girl on the phone actually had us switch down from the more expensive hummer since we only had 6 people and I'm glad we did!! The 300 was super cool!! more

From start to end everything went very good. They are professional on the phone unlike a lot of company's I called. They gave me a good rate, however I did find cheaper but I really wanted to go with a company that was highly rated and they have an ""A"" rating with the better business and that was worth the extra $10.00 per hour. Very professional company! My husband and I had come into Phoenix after our flight had delayed several times. We had booked Maxim Limousine for a pick up and were pleased to know they had watched our flight and had our driver on site promptly when we arrived. We have used other shuttle and sedan services before, but will never again due to Maxim's Superior Customer Service. Pros: They watch your flight! more

We rented the Party Bus for Prom and it was the Best Night EVER!!! The bus was amazing and the driver was so fun, we rented the bus again for Graduation. I love love love Maxim and I'll tell everyone I know! more

I used MAXIM Limousine as a surprise for my sister's birthday. I had a special dvd made with pictures of us growing up and our driver made sure that it was playing when he picked up my sister. Birthday banners and balloons in the limo. The car was new and clean and the office staff helped me put together a tour of phoenix, since we've never been here before. I'll be sure to tell my friends about Maxim limo when they come out to AZ.. Pros: Great customer service, knowledgable drivers, great office staff! more

We stumbled on this excellent company quite by accident. We needed transportation for a special client on very short notice. We hired Maxim Limousine for our senior prom. They called us 27 hours before the event to let us know that they had double booked the party bus and that we would not be getting it. Other kids at school told us that they had the party bus too. They were the ones who got the bus that night. Maxim knew that they had double booked the bus 6 days before they told us. Maxim hired out another smaller party van from another company and said we could have all our money back and no ride or use the smaller bus and they would not be giving us any of our money back . We all felt blackmailed into accepting the smaller bus or walk to the prom. Even after we took a letter of complaint to their office within 12 hours of the completion of the service, as it was stated in our contract, they still would not give us any money back. Our rental went from a 35 passenger tour bus with 10 tv's, bathroom, bar, 2 stripper poles, mega sound system, and fog machine to a 28 passenger van with none of those features yet they insist that the replacement bus was an upgrade. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever!!!! If you decide to through caution to the wind and not believe this, be sure to pay with a credit card. That way when the service you contracted for is not delivered, you have them backing you. more

Hello, Pros: it was better than expected more

I hired Maxim for a business trip to take several important clients to see our newest imaging equipment at the Mayo Clinic and was very disappointed. While the drivers were courteous and the limos were clean, there were several unforgiveable logistical errors and in the end I was overcharged by $200 from the quoted price. Pros: Decent fleet, courteous drivers Cons: No attention to detail, no follow-up, lousy customer service, bait-and-switch quoting more
