Founded in 1999 by brothers Shaw and Tom Matthews, Matthews Marine Inc. began by providing general crane barge services along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. With an early focus on mechanical dredging we have built equipment and developed techniques and capabilities over the past 15 years unmatched in the marketplace. We have rebuilt the best of “old world” equipment and combined with new construction and other late model equipment. In addition we utilize the latest technology in dredge positioning and surveying. Our most basic operating premise and key to success is the hands-on approach we as owners take to every project. This ensures we operate at the highest level of safety and efficiency to attain the goal of customer satisfaction.
