I have shared my experience with Mashcole on a number of online forums, but I feel like it is important to disseminate this information so others do not get fooled by this company.\r

As an property owner, my 8 months experience with Mashcole was an unpleasant one. Firstly their double paying of the gas bill and allocating the account incorrectly caused me to incorrectly believe that the building had seriously hot water pipe problems. It shouldn't happen if they have a sound accounting system.\r

Under their management of my 70 units at four locations, I repeatedly paid for the same maintenance problem at the same unit. They didn't have competent vendor and they never check the jobs of their vendor. One time they even got a welder from yellow page and the guy asked the payment right after finished the job. If you hire this company, you need to be on top of everything, especially your banking account. Otherwise your money might be missing. It happened to me. Even though I eventually got my $1200 back but it did take them an eternity to write my the check on their own fault. From then on, I lost the confidence in their accounting system. It was more work, more stress to me if I need to double check everything. Consequently, I terminated their services. \r

One more thing, if you are going to retain this company, please ensure making copies of everything before you give it to them. My experiences with them was that they don't have stable personnel to handle my account. Once their liaison with me leave the job, all my files were misplaced and lost. I was unable to get back my tenants' signed rental agreement and the personal information I gave to them when I firstly hired them.\r

Overall, their best performance is talking. If they told you everything has been taken care of and you believe them, you will be in trouble. You need to be wiser when dealing with them. I paid my price. Good Luck!
