Great shop 8/5/2016

Have had to have 2 transmissions replaced in 2 months on different company trucks they have been very open in what needs to be done and when it will be returned to service as if the truck is in the shop it is not making any money for the company. Rick has been a big help in these issues I have had during this time. more

My car feels smooth again! 7/27/2016

It's amazing what a new rear muffler and and an oil change can do for my 2006 Ford Focus along with a new engine mount pad to make my car feel like it's not dragging anymore out on the road! It definitely feels like there's more spring in my car and driving I-495 was not a chore at all! The secure feeling as well knowing you have new brake rotors and pads on both sides at the front end puts my mind at ease and it feels great during my stops going to work and heading home from work. Rick did a great job of repairing my car and I never have any doubts when I take my car to Marv and Mike's. Thank you again! more

affordable and outstanding service 7/13/2016

Marv & Mike's is and always has been affordable, and they do great work. I remember going into the shop with my parents before I could see over the counter. As an adult, I've realized that unlike dealerships, they actually tell you what your car does and does NOT need. I'll never go anywhere else. more

Keeping my '99 Chevy Express van on the road. 6/11/2016

I've been wanting to buy a new van for so long now. But, Marv and Mike's make it difficult because they keep my truck in such fine running condition. I may even have them drop in a remanufactured engine when the time comes, since that is about the only major part that has not been replaced in the last 200,000 miles of hard city driving. more

Meh! Going' elsewhere... 5/7/2016

I requested brake inspection, oil & filter change, chassis lube. Owner quoted $650 for requested work, including new front brake pads and rotors(recommended), plus new rear coil springs and shocks(needed; one spring broken). I was surprised at the need for new rotors, since they had been replaced only 10,000 miles ago. Then I read online that rotors are made thinner nowadays to conserve materials, etc. Mechanic called them 'pancake' rotors. More like 'Communion wafers' IYAM. I declined the front brake work and the total was still $650. And my side mirrors were moved from where I had them, plus there's a new dent on rear side panel. Plus side: New front office lady smiled and said, 'Thank you.' more

Great mechanics and great service 4/3/2016

My truck died going to work and had it towed to Marv and Mike's. They diagnosed the ignition problem, replaced a few things and now my truck runs like new. Better performance and better gas mileage too! thanks, guys! more

Great integrity 3/31/2016

I had a minor repair done involving a tire sensor. Rick called to say that the work was done, but that his workman had by accident caused a minor scratch to the back bumper. Rick wanted to keep the car for a few days, so that he - at his expense - could have a body shop repair the bumper. I doubt that we would even have noticed the damage, but he volunteered to have the work done to repair it. I found this extraordinary. I just picked up the car - the tire work was well done, and the back bumper looks great. more

Just really like going here. Very honest. Tells you what's wrong. And themselves tells you what really needs done now and what can wait till later. Keeping my Chevy van alive 3/14/2016

Closing in on 200,000 miles on my 1999 Express 1500 van. About the only major and minor part that has not been changed out on this 5.7 liter cargo van is the engine. If that goes anytime soon, I will likely have Marv and Mike's drop one in and ride it for another 100,000 miles. They do great work and never more than needed. more
