While often crowded, the wait is worth it. The fireplace next to the bar is a welcoming spot to sip a cocktail on a winter's night. This is not a spot to come if you want to get in and out quickly. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and savour the food. We like the upstairs at night and the bar side or patio tables for lunch. Try some of the specials as the chef is creative and well trained in the mixing of flavors. Save room for the desserts, too. For the price, the food is very good, but you can spend more and get better in New Hope. Try this restaurant for a great date night and go dancing at Havana, afterwards.
Pros: Ambience, history, food value
Cons: Crowds, limited space in the waiting area
