To get to the recreation area, visitors can hop on a bus from Aspen Highlands Village. Once there, they explore Maroon Lake, a favorite spot for dam-building beavers that's surrounded by wildflowers in spring and summer. Moon Bells, made up of two sharp mountain peaks more than 14,000 feet tall, provide a splendid backdrop for a day of fishing, hiking, picnicking or simply snapping that perfect photo.
