So, It may be the only museum around, and may not mean a whole lot to anyone who lives outside the city of manteca, but I find this museum really interesting. I had never been in there only passed by it a few times, but one day I was asked to help out my Dad's friend and move stuff around in this museum. There was so much interesting stuff in this museum and old relatives pictures in this museum that I found really interesting. On the second story, which I did not think it had. Is an old school set up from a long time ago when there was actually schooling going on in that building. I am not quite sure if that part is open to the public or not, but it was really interesting because there was the old ink quills in the desk still and actual writing on the chalk board that has never been erased from when the school was out. If you live in manteca, I really encourage you to go to this museum to get a sense of the history of our little town, you may see someone's picture in the museum's wall you may be related to, you never know until you go!
