Great place. Really works well with their customers. Will come back!

Its been a while since I took my pet here, but the experience was bad enough I thought I would give it a review. We took a cocker spaniel that was still a puppy in for the trainin...

Terrible experience 5/9/2012

Had a terrible experience with MBF. My dogs went for two weeks and when they came back they were not themselves at all. It was clear that they only obeyed out of fear. Never going back. more

Completely Terrible 5/9/2012

I was surprised to see all of these positive reviews after my experience. My family took our two dogs there, our boston probably wasn't even one yet and our shorkie was one and a half. We left them for the two week training and when we picked them up they were not the same dogs at all, they had lost all of their personality and seemed almost like they were drugged. I'm not saying they were drugged but they were lethargic and too tame. We took our dogs there to be trained, not to have all of their personality and peppiness taken out of them. When I went back for the hour session in which I partook I was appalled at what happened, the trainer was pulling on my boston's choke collar so hard that he yelped almost every time she did it. It was very obvious to me that the dogs were only sitting out of fear of the trainer and it broke my heart. I will never take my dogs back there and wouldn't recommend MBF to anyone. more

Great Experience 8/17/2011

Sigi had a major problem jumping up on people and counter tops. Trish did a wonderful job with her. Her training here has been a great experience. more

Great Transformation! 12/20/2010

We were skeptical at first; the staff made us feels that the training would be a success with Dolce. We did the two week boarding OB training. We still have our sweet loving Dolce but she is now obedient, much calmer around strangers and other dogs. Dolce’s trainer was great. There is a respect level that she and he gained in the one on one training and he was able to help both in giving her obedience and commands. She is great I would never have thought that our hyper dog could be so calm yet maintain her loving personality. I will recommend Man’s Best Friend to anyone and everyone who owns a dog. more

Thank you 10/26/2010

We have seen an amazing transformation in Belle’s behavior and demeanor. She continues to improve every week with at home training as well as the “small group” sessions. more

Need Training 9/6/2005

Training for your dog is a must or they will tear everything up. This is one of the best places. They are great with animals and their technique works wonders even on the worst animal. I was pleased with the quality and care they use with you best friend. They work so well with all animals. more

GOOD DOG 8/25/2005

The best place for your friend. They take great care of your family pet. They can train, board, and more. They offer several services all under one roof. They only offer positive training for your dog. The employees are wonderful and you never have to worry about your best friend when they are here. more

Not My Kind of Training 8/19/2005

Its been a while since I took my pet here, but the experience was bad enough I thought I would give it a review. We took a cocker spaniel that was still a puppy in for the training. What we got in the end was a puppy that was very aggressive that ended up being taken back to the breeder. MBF keeps the dog for a 2 week period to do the start up training then brings the famiy back to "train" the family as well on training the pet. Yes the dog could sit and heel, which is why I rated the company a 2 instead of a 1, but what was a nice family dog went on to bite me, as well as my mom. Not a good pet for children anymore. more
