I live very close to the Manny Brown's in Neshaminy Mall and it is a nice place to meet for a drink or have a quick meal. The st louis ribs are fantastic!! The staff is nice and the service is pretty good. I was actually surprised to see some of the reviews previously were negative. I do believe the general public is a bit negative to begin with not understanding that sometimes places are shortstaffed at times or very busy beyond normal. Anway, give it a try!!! The happy hour is from 4 til 7pm and on Wednesday at 8pm they have Quizzo( a quiz game which is very challenging). I signed up as a member to this site just to give this place my worst possible recommendation. I went there on a holiday, and they were very short-staffed. Even then, the service on their outdoor patio was truly an abomination. They managed to turn a simple American tex mex experience into a greek tragedy. My table, and the other four on the patio all had complaints; we all had to go get our own silverware and had to take bottles of ketchup off of abandoned, non-bussed dirty tables. Drinks took half an hour, from an empty bar. A third of our order was never entered into the system. Upon confrontation, after a long search, our server blamed the bartender for a missing round of drinks. A table for two at the far end of the patio sat for 30 minutes without a drink order, and watched closer tables order and recieve their food. I promise you, citysearch readers, that if I ever see service this poor again I will return to this page and update this review. It's worth going and ordering soft drinks just to watch... but don't expect refills. Cons: Truly the worst restaurant experience in the Philadelphia metro area. A must see. more

Went to Manny Brown's after taking my kid to see a movie. It was a nightmare from the minute we got there. The hostess was the most ignorant, mean, unhappy person I have ever encountered in food service. She just looked at us, we just looked back until she said something. It was an awkward 5 seconds. No one came over to take our drink order for 10 minutes. The food then came out quick, but was entirely wrong. My wife ordered a mandarin salad, it came out without any oranges, dressing or almonds. They basically served her a bed of lettuce. The onion soup was good, the basic chicken sandwich was not bad either. It took literally 20 minutes for the waiter to bring out my kid's ice cream. Have you ever tried to keep a 3 year old calm, for twenty minutes while waiting for ice cream?? The entire place was miserable. The lady at the table next to us asked for the check when her food was ordered because "she couldnt stand being in here anymore." That was her direct quote. I wouldnt recommend this place to an enemy, especially if you are trying to get a quick bite before a movie, you certainly will be late for the flick Pros: none Cons: everything: food, service, attitudes, promptness more
