Manning's Paint & Body Shop

This is the 2nd time I had to bring my vehicle to Mannings for some work. Both times were very pleasurable experiences under stressful situations. The most recent one was when Bambi decided to commit suicide on I65 near the TN border on the Way to Disney world. The vehicle was drive-able back home, but needed a new grill, front bumper, and work done to the hood and right & left fenders. Mannings did a FANTASTIC job in putting it all back together. The vehicle now drives better then EVER! Pat and Lisa are great folks to work with, I commend the whole Manning team on a job well done, thank you. more

I've known Pat at Manning's Paint & Body Shop for years. They've done several jobs for me. I had an old van one time and took it over there. All I wanted was the paint done, and when it came out, it looked like a brand-new automobile! The people at Manning's Paint & Body Shop are conscientious guys and get their job done. Manning's Paint & Body Shop is very specialized in what they do. They have done two repairs on my car and a repair on my wife's car. In all occasions they have done the work under the estimate and the appearance when they return the car is better than new. more

Manning's Paint & Body Shop gets a six out of five. They're the best. I recommend them to anybody who asks me for an auto shop. First off, they're very personable. If you call and talk to them, they will answer your questions and make you feel like they're serving you, not themselves. Their customer service is phenomenal. Second, they only fix and recommend to you what they know your car needs. I wasn't used to that with other places, which will try to get you to buy more than you need sometimes. I live in Louisville, and Manning's Paint & Body are real down-home guys. Third has to do with the owner Joe Manning. I'm a pastor at a church his church in town, and I didn't know that at first. Joe's a very honest person. And when I realized his church, it all made sense because I know how he's an honest Christian man. Even Lisa, the front receptionist, is phenomenal. They all call me by name and do very honest, great work that goes beyond the call of duty. more

Received very friendly customer service, but paint on the bumper that was replaced still does not match the body after the second visit. The third and hopefully final repair is scheduled, but is three weeks out. Spoke with an associate at Mannings who told me that there is a process called "blending" that they do when they are having issues with paint not matching. In my opinion this should have been done the first time, and most definitely should have been done on the second visit. After the second visit, the paint is lighter that the first time, but is most definitely off in hue (color). The repainted bumper is much bluer than the rest of the car. The difference is obvious when you compare the trunk to the bumper. I'm not happy with the outcome of this repair thus far. more

I would recommend Manning's Paint & Body Shop highly. They're great. What I really like about them is that they gave me a number and that's exactly what the final price was. This was our first time using Manning's Paint & Body Shop and we were really pleased with their work. They were really above board about how long it would take to fix our car. They originally thought it would take a lot longer than it did. Initially, we got a few quotes, and they weren't the highest but they weren't the lowest either. We decided to use them based on their location, which was convenient to us, and on our neighbor's recommendation who had his tractor's roof fixed by them when it caved in. So, we took a chance on them, and it really paid off. I dropped in while they were working on my car, and they walked me through the shop and showed me where they were in the process, and took time to explain the repairs they were doing on each piece. I thought they were really nice and doing a good job. And when it came time to fill out the paperwork, because there was a salvage title involved, Pat Manning himself drove me to the bank, in his own vehicle, to have the paperwork done. We would definitely use them again and would highly, highly recommend them to anybody! more

The crew at Mannings Paint and Body Shop are consummate professionals who certainly cast a discerning eye on their work. I just received my Prius back last Friday and the car looks like new. I couldn't be more pleased- their work is top drawer. This is obviously an operation that takes great pride in their work. more

I absolutely would recommend Manning's Paint & Body. They did a great job! They were on time, courteous, and they kept me well informed. They were a good group. They also told me about an issue I had with my tires while they were troubleshooting something out. They just did a nice job. They washed the vehicle, and cleaned the inside too. Dealing with Manning's Paint & Body Shop was really painless. I used them two times this summer, and I never had a problem. They had to deal with insurance people out of state, which I really thought was going to be a pain, but they took care of everything. The first time I went it was just a small repair, but the second time was a pretty major wreck. The work was really nice; both trucks were returned in really good shape. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. more

I was involved in an accident in December 2009. My car was appraised by Mannings in February, but due to this becoming a court case my car did not get fixed until August. They were very understanding, and the cost of repairs did not go up. They did a great job on the repairs! more

I was on my way to a wedding reception and was hit by a police officer. My Volkswagen Jetta is the first car that I've bought, and I had only had it for 3 months. I was pretty devastated because I thought I would never get my car back to the way it was. I called my insurance, and the insurance agent recommended Manning's Paint & Body Shop. He said that his friend has imported cars that they worked on, and they did a great job. I decided to go there. I pulled my car into their shop, they took pictures, and they gave me an estimate. They had to order some parts. It did take a little longer, but that was because we had to get a supplement added to the original estimate. The car is now in great shape. Manning's Paint & Body Shop has really nice people there, and the location was convenient for me. Everything went as smoothly as I thought it should. I have never been in a wreck before, and whenever I called them they answered all my questions. It was good to have them. more

I am very satisfied with everything Manning's Paint & Body Shop has done for me. They have mostly done repairs on my children's cars, however in January I had an incident on ice with my work truck. At the same time my daughter got clipped by a car on the interstate. We took the cars to Manning. They fixed my truck and my daughter's older Volvo looks like new. Everyone was just great at Manning's Paint & Body Shop. They helped me through the process of talking with the insurance company. The accident was not my fault, so I was dealing with unfamiliar insurance and they were giving me the run around. The brothers at Manning's told me what to say and it worked out. They also fixed my car for the price they said they would. It looks great. In fact, it looked like it was totaled, but it's perfect now. We are actually loyal customers of about 5 years because they have fixed minor things for us before, but this was our first big job for them. It was about $4200 in damage.
