Mandeville Mill Lofts

OMG! I was going to live here but the place looked run down and I was worried because it was so dark at night and they did not have gates or security. Now a girl has gone missing and maybe found dead and they arrested some one who lives at the lofts! This is so sad and I am so glad that I did not move there! I talked to a man from hanes and they were taking care of the building for the bank and I just drove by and saw that they are doing a bunch of work but I saw on HLN last night that they still do not have security. Somebody has got to pay for this! Hello! Students live there and I talked to a friend and she is scared! Stay away! I hope your ok Marci. I just heard you may not be and that makes me sad. I though MM was kind of cool when I moved in, but you should realize crime is a real big problem here. In the past year I've called 911 three different times. I know one person who had a peeping tom. Random people (drunk? crackhead? trying to break in? who knows) have banged on the door late at night. No one leaves bikes locked up outside. And recently, some investigators came to by asking if I had seen a missing woman. The police had found her car in the back parking lot and towed it off, but they haven't found the missing woman. On the top floor it may not be so bad but I'm not feeling too safe here. Also power bills are really high in summer and winter since the buildings have no insulation. These people are putting a lot of work into making it look better out here. But it seems to be all cosmetic. Pros: Haven't been shot (yet) Cons: Power bills, Crime, loud trains more

I really liked living there. I lived there for two years, until I graduated. I probally would have stayed there but I got a job in Roswell. I could walk to class. It's a cool building, it used to be a cotton mill. Our apartment was huge. It was the best deal I found and I looked all over the place. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more
