Malibu has been a favorite place in Bloomington for many years. The seasoned hospitality and quality service far surpasses the expectations you have from a college town restaurant. Malibu is truly one of Bloomington's Icons. A place you always have to go back and visit. The food/menu is always fresh and prepared with quality, extensive thought and preparation. Not your typical American casual food. The place to go when you need a great burger or steak or in the mood for pasta or salad and don’t underestimate the seafood. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and everyone’s a star! Just look at the pictures on the wall. more

food, atmosphere, service and drinks 11/30/2005

this place has it all: great drinks, great drink specials, friendly staff (when not too busy), attentive management and of course, a great menu. this is the sort of place you go when you have guests and you're not sure what they would like to eat. it's even the place we go when we're not sure what we want to eat. it's definitely the place we go when we know what we want to drink. this if by far the best place in bloomington to eat that has a full bar. other's act like they're the best, but it's all overblown egotistical hype. go to malibu and see what i'm talking about.
