Makino Chaya

So this is a tiny bit crazy. Its all buffet style I think. Anyhow so you sit down and you get to go to the buffet, however, you only get one hour to order anything off the menu and I think you can only order two items at once. Also, keep in mind that these two items are really small (dim sum plate small). They have a sushi bar and that is excellent. I loved the shrimp, chicken, tofu, rice, and basically everything off the buffet. On the menu you can order lobster, but like I said you can only order two things at once. They usually take the orders off the menus in rounds. For the hour we were there, they got in about 3 rounds. I absolutely have never tasted better miso butterfish in my life. It was literally probably one of the top foods I have ever tried. Its off the menu and its maybe a 3 oz. part of a fish, but it is absolutely amazing. The desserts were also really nice and really good. Definitely would reccomend this place to anybody. The price was high but not as high as other places like this. more

Makino Chaya provides you a wide range of japanese food in thier buffet menu. for instance, any kind of donburis, tempura, teriyaki chicken, grilled fish, oden, and many kind of sushi at the sushi bar. you can also order the food from the menu as well (and it's buffet so you can order it as much as you.) they have softshell crab and rib-eye streak in thier menu too. I really like to order softshell crab. if you order softshell crab from other japanese food restaurants, it probably will cost you around $3 -$ 4 per order. but here, you can eat as much as you can... isn't great? However, you can order from the menu for 2 items at the time. after they bring your order, you can order another 2 items. so, it isn't that bad at all... The price of the buffet is around $25 for dinner and $20 for lunch. I woul recommend you to go for dinner, they have more selections for the food. Really Love This Place!!!! more
