I was in a rush and needed to overnight a package at the Post Office during my lunch hour. I wasn't the only one with that idea though because the line at the post office was out the door. Frustrated with the possibility of blowing my whole lunch hour waiting on line I drove around until I found the Mail Box Shop right up the road from where I work. They were very pleasant and in less then 15 minutes they answered all my questions and were able to take my package and get it overnighted for me. I still had time to grab a bite to eat when it was all done. If you are in the area and need something expedited I strongly recommend giving these folks a try. They are new owners and have changed many things in the store. They are also very reasonably priced. more

Great place, always use their services...The only thing is that they dont pick up their phone...I've been trying to reach them for almost three days, and nobody picks up the phone...I know I'm using the right phone number..I wonder if they have a phone servcie problem... But there service is great :) more

08-15-2011 I have been a customer of this shop for many years but the new managers do not exhibit business sense or customer care. Robert recently withheld the mail from my PMB saying I was past due. Even though I had all my receipts from the beginning of the year in my wallet, he refused to verify my account due date (still 9 days away) in their records. Instead, he kept repeating "what will it take to make you happy?" Well, being correct would be a start, then quit being condescending to me (a female). Instead of looking at my receipts he said he would be "yelling at his wife later tonight for telling him to hold my mail", all this discourse was in front of several other customers. Of course I left very upset and pulled out my original PMB rental agreement when I got home. It verified my account was opened 5 years prior on the 24th of the month. The prior owner had always used the 24th of the month as my due date but now Robert was telling me that it's supposed to be the date on my last payment receipt (the 3rd of the month). I had tried to explain to Robert that if I was buying blocks of time (minimum purchase of 3 months at a time required) that was not the correct calculation method and would end up being shorted on my paid time...a concept Robert still couldn't grasp when I phoned him from home after reviewing my original paperwork. . more

It came as kind of surprise when I learned how helpful and friendly Robert at this shop showed himself to be. I went in to mail a package but decided against it and just got info from Robert. Before I left despite no sale, Robert gave me a cold water. He also offered fruit. If you have to mail packages etc. this is the place to check out. more

I always come here to mail things to my grandchildren in Virginia, and they are always so friendly. I love to browse around the store and look at the neat gifts that they have, and the greeting cards are hilarious. But the one things that touched me the most was when I was in the hospital and I received a package from them with gifts and get well wishes. It let me know that I was more than just a customer, they thought of me as a friend. more

I went in this place for the first time since the former owner left. I have to say i was totally surprised @ how nicely updated the place looks. The new owner & his wife are very friendly and the price is right :) I would recommend this place to anyone in the Scottsdale area!! more

What a freaking rip off artist. He charged my husband $2.97 to mail 6 CDs to our distributor via media mail. But when I went in there to ship them the next time instead of my husband, he gouged me and charge me $9.65 postage for the same exact thing and then was extremely ugly on the phone when I called to ask if it was a mistake and pretty much told me to go to hell. You can ship 18 pounds media mail for that price. But then I am a little 5 '2"" blond so I guess he figured I am an idiot. I do not recommend this place at all and will be tweeting it to thousands of my followers and 14K followers also on youtube as well as Facebook and dozens of other sites we promote our music on.. I am very disgusted. I can't help but think these 5 star ratings are friends reviews after the way he treated me. more

I walked in and the manager told me ""oh, we do not have a notary here"" How the hell can you advertise a service you can't provide??? Anyways, the guy gave me directions to a place ""a couple blocks away"" I spent a good 30min trying to find this place and finally gave up. Went home and this time I looked at the reviews online to find the place with the best service. Everyone was raving about the Mail Box Shop on McKellips. So I walk over there. They let me bring my dogs in while I was doing my business, and on top of that the owner of the place (a very laid-back friendly Lady named Damita) gives me a cappuccino!!! Not a crappy one but an Iced Vanilla Bean. I will be going back here for all of my shipping needs. Did I happen to mention they also make custom boxes and have private mailboxes there? I highly recommend this place. Pros: Friendly Knowledgeable Down to Earth Cons: closed on sundays dang!! more

Well Yes I said and I proceeded to ship a FedEx international package. I was 10 dollars short of total(left cc at home). He said no problem and covered it. I was shocked and I told him I would tell all my friends about him and write a review of his store. No big box store(Finko's, UPStress Store) would offer me this kind of service. I'm now His customer for life. Pros: Knowledgable, Fast, Cheap Cons: only one store in valley more
