BEWARE of Maids Etc. We used a groupon for 2 man-hours of cleaning and the result was horrible. Upon calling the company and eventually reaching the owner, he was incredibly rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional, eventually hanging up on me. The two folks who ?cleaned? the house did not clean the toilet bowls, only the surface of the toilet. The same was true for the sink bowls. Almost everything looked like it had been wiped down quickly. I requested the cabinets be cleaned prior to the appointment, and they were not. Overall, it was a very poor job, as if the young man and woman had never cleaned before. Upon calling and reaching the owner, he said they would come back and clean again, begrudgingly. I debated having them come back, because if they did that poor of a job in the first place, what would be the point? Still, I asked if they did come back, if they would be extra careful on the carpet because we had just had them professionally cleaned. I asked if he could guarantee they would be in the same condition, he said no, he could not guarantee anything, and he was not paying for our carpet to be cleaned (completely missed the point and was obviously not listening). I asked for a refund, and he scoffed and rudely told me to contact groupon. He finally said, again very rudely, that he had given me two options and that was that. He interrupted me and talked over me the entire conversation. Finally, incredibly angry and disappointed at this point, I said, ?Well, based on this conversation, I think I understand why the house looks the way it does.? He replied, ?Man, get off my damn phone.? He then hung up the phone on me. Luckily, groupon was very professional and refunded our money.
