I Stayed at this hotel and who ever cleans it did the best job. It was the cleanest Days Inn I have ever stayed in. I dont stay anywhere except Days Inn and to whoever cleaned it, I really appreciate it! more

We stayed at this Days Inn for one night while heading up to Yellowstone Park. The facility is a bit dated, but the rooms were fresh and comfortable, and priced similarly to other hotels in the area. Any questions we had were handled courteously by the desk staff. The breakfast menu had a decent selection, all-in-all a good place to spent a night. more

This is an outstanding motel highway convenient.. The service it tops,helpful and caring staff, friendly, they take time to make you at home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, continental breakfast is great. It is an older motel and feels like home and is kept up well. more

We live in Colorado and stayed at this motel while traveling. It is different from the usual motel. It includes a book exchange which is appreciated- both printed and audio, a beautiful photo gallery of different wildlife and landscape images. The free popcorn in the afternoon was a pleasant surprise. It certainly is more guest oriented and unique than other highway motels we have visited. more

The room was clean, smelled fresh and the bed was very comfortable.\r Another review mentioned the ""nearby refinery and smells"". The refinery is over 5 miles east and there is no refinery smell in the whole town of Rawlins that we noticed. The staff was helpful and friendly. We asked if there was an Italian restaurant in own and they suggested Cappy's, across town, which we loved. more

Our over night stay at this Days Inn was a positive one. Unlike some other reviewers, the halls had new carpet and did not smell at all. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, with plenty of towels. The mattresses were very good,with multiple pillows(later found out the mattresses were new.). Free breakfast was best on whole trip, better than microtell or sleep inn. Did the room have a fancy flat screen TV? Nope, it did not,just the regular kind, but hey, give me the good sleeping beds like we had, we didn't stop here to watch a bunch of TV. Another nice touch was the remote control on A/C- heater unit, which you could control with out getting up from that nice bed-Cool. more

One thing I always like about Day's Inn is all the pillows they give you. This one also has foam toppers for the mattresses, which takes it a step above the usual motel in this class. All in all the best deal in Rawlins. more

I was a worried about booking this hotel as some of the previous reviews were a bit critical. Maybe my expectations going there were too low, but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised on all counts. The location is near northern entrance to Yellowstone. There is a good restaurant ajacent to the hotel and a pizzeria across the street. The property itself is very well maintained. Our room was very spacious and clean. Everything worked well. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to others. more

I noticed some bad reviews from years ago. Things have changed. The service I experienced was excellent, friendly staff. Breakfast was better than most motels with a good selection of hot as well as cold dishes. The lounge and restaurant were open and the food was pretty good. For an off highway, medium priced. For older hotel, it was great. Evidence of staff working hard to keep things nice for the guests. more
