Mad Mad Whirled

This place was run down and nasty last time I came but NOW IT IS NICE!! The carpets have been CLEANED! ALSO there are all NEW NICE GAMES! This place has alot of potential if they keep it nice this time! The bathroom was even CLEAN! I will be going back for more whirly ball fun! more

We had a group function there. The idea seemed good and had potential. Mad Mad Whirled serves alcohol and has whirleyball and laser tag for people to play. In addition, there are some video games, but most were out of order. The attention getter was definitely the whirleyball, but some people enjoyed the laser tag too. The problem was the location hasn't kept its equipment in serviceable condition. I can only speak for the whirleyball though, which I played for about 3 hours. more

I have read through the reviews and I must say, initially, I sided more with Ryan and Blackout Studios. I had a group of about 10 adults with me and we made a reservation a day or so in advance to play lasertag. It was a surprise for my brother's birthday because we used to play as kids. When we arrived, the ""manager"" said that I had not made a reservation and that we could wait for 2 hours until there was space available because he could not prove that I made my reservation! After going back and forth for a while and losing the patience to be kind to him anymore, my two friends started speaking with him instead. In short, though we had to wait for our game, he accommodated our whole group to hold us over until it was our time to play. We wound up having a great time! Granted, like Blackout mentioned, though lasertag was relatively outdated, it worked for our nostalgic day out. We did wind up playing whirlyball and since none of our group had even heard of it before, that was kinda cool. As far as the cleanliness that Ryan mentioned, it is kinda dirty...but I feel like most arcades are. We only tried to play Dance Revolution and it was clearly not working properly and ate our money...so we didn't play any other arcade games. Overall, it was ok. I am taking another group in soon. I will see if I have the same problems. If so, I am all for Blackout and Ryan...if not, it is an ok place to visit every now and again. more

Ok so, we paid 340 bucks for what was supposed to be a 2 hour party fort 10. We get there, no one greeted us, the place has out of date games and most of them are broke. So someone takes points us to the party room which is dark and cold. Nice room but cold. We finally play lasertag which is the version from the 80's, no real vibrate you can't enter your own name, old skool. Then off to whirly ball. This is decent, the cars need to be updated, the frames are old and one had metal parts that ripped two peoples pants. But the kicker is our party ended at 5pm and at 5:05pm the host comes in, doesnt say anything and starts to clean our birthday stuff up. Then when I ask her to chill because we are packing up they send the manager in. Mind you it's 5:07... BTW this is the most interaction we had with host and the manager all day. It's a cool place to stop by but I will never have an event there again. The place is one step away from a dump. more

I dont about the day time but at night....MAN if you like fights and young people then your ok...but if your 18 and over then dont go there at night its just like the jumpoff for you people that ar around here you no what I mean Pros: Probably not this best place to go to at night Cons: Probably not this best place to go to at night more

Had a nice time at Mad Mad World. Staff was very nice (Kim, Sarah, Amber and Omar - very very helpful). Whirlyball is so much fun. Didn't get a chance to play Laser Tag - will do next time. Great place for having a family or a group outing to play Whirlyball or Laser Tag. Whirlyball is so fun - we had a bunch of adults laughing non-stop during and after the games. It's not just for kids. Also, a nice place to come with your office buddies or some other group outing. The fellow who wrote the previous review (Ryan Burke) is obviously an employee of Mad Mad Whirled's competitors - more likely the Atlantic Station. Look at ryan's only other review and you can easily see that something smells with his ONLY 2 reviews. Why would he defend safety and cleanliness so vigorously and then even mention that his friend is a general manager working in Atlantic Station. What a cheap shot. Anyway. Mad Mad Whirled was fun, exciting and time well spent. Other reviewers along with the Google positioning of the place (2nd on Google) couldn't all be wrong. Check it out. Pros: Whirlyball is SO MUCH FUN, especially for teens and adults Cons: Occasioanlly, may have a lock-in. Better to call for reservations. more

Anyone else notice the reviewers that make this terrible place look so good, the people who wrote them ONLY reviewed this establishment? Sounds like all the employees, or the manager, made fake accounts to glorify it (and notice they're trying to sell it to you?). Anyway, this place is incredibly dirty, the employees are mean, not dressed in a proffesional manner, and the ""games"" are always broken. Whirly ball is OK, but everything else about this place brings it down. I see some new retail stores are coming in around it, I for one will be lobbying that Jimmy's should close down- give it a rest guys, its a disguisting place, and attracts really nasty looking people at night, please, for the sake of our community, shut down... Cons: not that safe, dirty, employees are mean and look disguisting, red building??? more

Great fun for the family, the office and other groups. We love going to MMW to play whirlyball and laser tag. We also had a party there for 200+ people. Excellent service. Awesome facilty! more

Great fun for the adults and for the kids. I've been to birthday parties for kids, adult parties, and bar mitzvah parties there and everyone always has a fantastic time. Jimmy is a dream to work with. Highly recommended! more

Come to Jimmy's Mad Mad Whirled. The activities there are really fun, and exciting...Everyone can have a good time no matter their age group! If you are looking for a place to have a party, plan a corporate event, or take the kids on a rainy afternoon, jimmy's Mad, Mad Whirled is the place. There is something for everyone here, from small to big. Even grandparents can get pulled into the fun. The staff is helpful and attentive. We have kids ranging from 21 to 10, and they all found something fun to do, from whirly ball to laser tag to the climbing wall. Also, Jimmy is an expert in planning parties, corporate events and celebrations of all sizes. We have been to three different parties there and although they each featured the various recreational activities, the tone and flavor for each was different. Pros: good food, helpful staff, lots to do more
