I didn't buy a car here, but I will when I get ready to make my decision. I told them up front that I wasn't buying a car that day, and they treated me just as well if not better...

Beware of Service Ripped Off 1/24/2013

Stay Away! from service department. After authorizing a repair, they added an extra $100 to the bill, (in addition to performing the repair). I called other dealerships and it is the industry practice to charge the fee, but to not charge the customer if they authorize the repair. What a Rip Off artist. Must be nice to pocket 100USD from every car that rolls through their service department. (that is a huge chunk out of a fixed income budget). more

Don’t waste your time, just stay away. 8/19/2012

I had been looking around for a 2012 challenger for a while and had found one in the paper at Mac Haik. When I got there it was no longer there(I know dealers only have one listed in the paper at the sales price and when its gone its gone. No big deal I get). So I was talking to the sales person about what I was wanting and at what price I need to be at. He told me that there was nothing on the lot that they could do at that price (still not big deal). I gave him my info and told him to call me if something came along. So about a week later I get a call that they have a car in at my price, unfortunately I was not able to come in due to being out of town. 2 weeks after that I get another call that they still have the car at my price and his sales manager is looking to move some cars this weekend (normal car salesmen speech). So I call and set up a time to come in. so I get there take and take the car out, get in it and the seatbelt doesn’t work nor does the entry button (stuff they can fix but still). After that we sat down to start the paper work, he hands me a piece of paper with the price and its over $4000 more than what we had agreed on (the only reason I had come in) also higher than the price listed online. I tell him that is not the price we talked about; he says “oh what price did I tell you again”. Goes and comes back with his sales manager, to tell me that there is no way that they can do that, so if I wanted the car I would have to pay more. Save yourself some time and don’t go to Mac Haik. more

LIES and LEMON 8/5/2011

We seen a 04 Chevy 2500 HD Diesel on the web and it advertised leather, dual drivers control e.t.c. We drove 60 miles to go get it after being approved. When we got there the truck was cloth interior and had no options the web site stated. We were already there and still wanted the truck so we bought anyways. While driving from the pre-owned to the new dealer, the salesman in the back seat told us that the truck went through their (X) amount point inspection when I commented on the truck hesitating while idle speed in the parking lot. We drove truck home and the truck drove like crap for two days. I took the truck to a dealership here at home and paid the fee for them to tell me the truck had fuel/air and possible injector problems. The fuel filter was clogged up, the air filter was dirty, and the oil life only had 5% life...(so much for the (X) amount point inspection that Mac Haik told us they had performed. The next morning it would not start. Mac Haik sent a wrecker up to tow it back to the dealership and had it for two days and said they fixed it and for us to come get it...They said they bled the fuel lines....yeah.. OK... We questioned the General Sales Manager and he informed us that the truck only went through an 8 POINT SAFETY INSPECTION and the salesman LIED about their (X) amount point inspection. We drove from Georgetown back to Copperas Cove non stop and before I pulled into my driveway the truck started running rough again. The next morning truck would not start. We had it taken to a mechanic here and he ran the codes and said we were looking at about $600/$700 in work first and then he could reset the codes and check for other issues.Mac Haik argued at first about wanting to pay the bill but then agreed to. We had the truck for a month and made the first payment and yet after the four days of taken ownership,,it has sat in the shop the rest of the time. We finally got the truck back with bad news of a leaking injector also known as " trailering". General Motors is aware of the issue and honored a re more

Polite & endearing 1/21/2011

The reason we came back to purchase the Jeep here was because Mark Martinez was so nice to us. He explained everything to us in a polite & endearing manner. Thank you team for our second Jeep purchased from you. May God Bless each of you & your families. more

This Dealership Group is a Joke 6/10/2010

Good: Absolutely nothing, they are a bunch of scum-sucking bandits.. Bad: They lie to you overcharge you and never sontact you for answering wuestions. Improvements: Everyone there should lose their jobs. Other: This entire dealership group really is a joke. I bought a new PT Cruiser from their Chrysler Dealership in Georgetown, Tx, in 2004. Now they had it in their service department for the last 3 weeks. AFTER the transmission went out (125 miles over Warranty expiration). I agreed to a Transmission rebuild for $3300, but now they can't fix the problem, repeated attempts to talk to the service and support managers have been futile. Its to the point they won't call me to let me know when it will be finished.. more
