Magnena styled my hair for about 17 years. She is not only an amazing stylist, but became an an amazing friend. My only regret about moving out of the area was leaving Magnena.

Magnena is great with short hair! I have lived in Houston for 6 years and bounced from stylist to stylist until I found Magnena. She takes the time to style my angled bob until it is perfect, and with my thick hair that task isn't alwasy so simple! She is also very flexible with my crazy schedule and makes it easy to get an appointment. Thanks, Magnena! more

I have been searching and searching for a hairdresser who would look at my hair and my face shape and tell me what hairstyle might look good on me. The first time I went to Magnena, I knew that I had finally found what I had been searching for! Magnena is absolutely wonderful! She is professional, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. My hair is very difficult to cut and style but I do not have to worry about if my hairdresser is going to do a great job because Maganeta can cut the most difficult hair style. I just wish I would of discovered her sooner. Maganeta has the best outgoing personality and style with the best knowledge in Hair care. I Love you Maganeta, you ROCK. more

I love the way Magnena cut my hair. Magnena really knows how to texturize and add lots of volume to fine thinning hair. Best Hair Salon Visit Overall 8/16/2011

The first time I came to Magnena I wasn't sure to expect. But now that I have gone I am hooked. Thisis the first time that I actually look forward to getting my hair done. When I am there, I don't have to worry about whether she is going to leave the relaxer in long enough or too long. I recently started going to Magnena because my previous hairdresser was not helping with my hair breakage, which I felt that a hair dresser should do. While she was inexpensive, it didn't seem worth it to be paying her for damagin my hair. That's when I decided to go to Magnena...and I will never go back! Magnena adresses whatever hair issues you have, personalizes your hair appt. to fit your hair condition, and not only is the result fabulous, but she teaches you what and how to keep it up in between appointments. Magnena does such a great job I would recommend her for anbody with any hair type. She knows exactly what she is doing and will help you have healthy hair! more

Great hair service 8/11/2011

My hair has never looked as good as it has since I've been going to Magnena for cuts and color treatments. She considers my lifestyle, skintype, and skill level when creating the most flattering style and shade. Unlike previous stylists I've been to, her work is consistently perfect. I enjoy every vist to this salon. Magnena spent a couple of visits working with me on a style that would fit my lifestyle and yet leave me looking my best. I have received numerous compliments on my hair and always feel that I look my best after an appointment. I especially appreciate her attention to detail. You will never be disappointed! more

Professional and passionate..... 4/10/2011

If you are looking for a professional, caring, state-of-the-art salon, M Studion is your place! My most favorite thing about Magnena is that she is all about hair health. There are many processes that damage the hair, and Magnena keeps those to a minimum while giving you the results you want. Going to her salon is like a spa, it is very stylishly decorated, and the lighting is so relaxing. Magnena is also punctual, which is very imprortant to me. I give two thumbs way up for Magnena and M Studio Salon! more

I recently visited Magnena's hair salon, M Studio Hair Salon, for a hair cut and style. First of all, her salon is so very cute and stylish! Also, I was truly impressed by Magnena's professionalism while in her hair salon (I have known her for some time now), but it is obvious that hair is serious to her. Magnena takes the time necessary to get to know your hair by getting to know it's texture physically, and by asking specific questions of what products I use, what my hair troubles are, also by asking about my personal hair maintenance preferences. I also noted that Magnena was up to date on current styles, techniques, and products for all hair types. She is very selective in choosing which products to use on her clients and offer in her salon. All of these skills put together made for the greatest results I have had of my hair in a very long time. I was more than satisfied with the results and will happily return. True Professional 3/7/2011

I had a 911 hair emergency when I met Magnena. My hair was falling out and I wasn't sure why. After asking me a series of questions, Magnena immediately pinpointed the problem -- a recent hair coloring gone wrong. Magnena wasn't responsible, but she cared enough to do everything she could to fix the problem. That was three week ago. Magnena has since resusictated my hair with customized treatments and I couldn't be happier with the results. Magnena is truly knowledgeable about hair and the proof is in her work. more

Absolutely Amazing! 1/28/2011

Magnena is amazing and she surely knows what she is doing! Her salon is beautiful and well decorated. My hair would not cooperate with the humidity down here in the houston area and she worked wonders with my hair. She is very friendly and down to earth and will also tell you the proper steps she uses to maintain your hair on your own. Magnena also uses natural products and oils on your hair such as lavender and honey to give it the boost it needs. I HIGHLY recommend her, you will be VERY pleased! more

Best experience in a salon 11/20/2010

I have extremely kinky natural hair and for a while I have been struggling to find a salon that actually cares about maintaining your natural hair cos i have suffered from severe breakage; hence the move to go completely natural. After hearing about the good things a Brazilian blowout can do for your hair, I decided to go this route to make my natural hair more manageable and I stumbled at M studio after hearing good recommendations from a friend. Magnena did a wonderful job and topped it off with a wonderful hair cut. She also has amazing products on her shelf for sale, and believe me she tries them out before they go up there. She really has a passion for hair, so she educated me on how to take care of my hair. Would definitely recommend this place to any friend who cares about the integrity of their hair. more
