A Groupon brought me to M Salon as I've been looking for a hair stylist that knows what they're doing since my former stylist moved away last year. I was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous haircut I got from Antonio. He even took the time to explain how he was cutting my hair & why he was using that method; very knowledgeable. I think I found my new stylist! more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! I wanted to change my boring black hair so I bought a Groupon for full highlights. Initially, I was hesitant I don't trust too many people with my hair and after I read a few reviews one being very odd about a certain Antonio, I decided to try it out. The receptionist was very polite and hospitable as well as the whole staff. My stylist ended up being Antonio the one I read about, how ironic. He was AMAZING! Sooooo knowledgeable and informative. He explained everything he was doing which I loved since I'm very picky with my hair. I asked him about his ""rave review"" and he even explained the incident. I couldn't see how anyone could be mean to this man he's sooooo NICE. My hair came out phenomenal from the color to the cut. I will definitely recommend this salon to everyone and will be going back. I even had the pleasure to meet the owner Michael. He is very lucky to have great staff to complement the great salon! more

this is a up beat, uptown beauty shop in the middle of coconut grove. michael does fantastic color and cuts, and the other stylists are terrific. you can get a great pedicure or manicure and there're booths for private waxing. coming from new york city i am delighted to find good taste, professional service, accommodating schedules, and a really good cup of coffee. it doesn't get any better than this. i have just read the 2 ""poor"" reviews - i think they either got the shop confused with someone else, or are bad mouthing competitors. more

Super Friendly Salon 2/14/2012

My hair was in need of some serious attention. My color was washed out and my hair was starting to look ratty at the ends. A good friend of mine recommended me to M Salon and I'm glad I went with her recommendation! As soon as I walked in the door I was attended to and offered a drink. The stylist that took care of me was brilliant! He did my roots and livened up my color with some highlights. And the cut brought life back to my hair. I couldn't be happier! From the looks of the other women and men getting their hair done that day, you can trust any stylist here to do a great job! Oh and if you have the time, get a pedicure. I felt like a million bucks after! I'll be going back in a week to get waxed too! I think I've found my new salon. Thank you to everyone at M Salon! more

Great salon 12/28/2010

I have been going to M salon for more than 10 years, I have always gotten excellent servicean and my hair looks great: people ask me where did I had it done? Michael is also great with color! Its a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recomend it. more

Pay for Insults & Bad Hair 10/9/2010

My wife and I went to M Salon for a day of pampering and hair cuts. We got drama, and competed for the ""who got butchered worse"" award for our hair. How can you screw up a trim? Ask the owner, Michael. He'll be the one in your face trying to upsell whatever's handy...hair gel, pubic hair dye, or obscenely ugly jewelry with a price tag to match. In fact, several times during our appointments, he stopped cutting hair to go schmooze other clients and try to sell them add-ons. If his salon isn't in financial trouble with his trying to squeak out every cent out of every client, it certainly will be soon. Needless to say, my wife and myself will not be returning. more

Bad Attitudes & Bad Hair Cut 10/8/2010

When I go to a salon, I expect certain things. To be treated well, to get a decent haircut.... If you're looking for either of these things, don't go to M Salon. The owner, Michael, is beyond rude, and was talking bad about the customer he had before me. He took an ""emergency"" personal phone call & laughed & chatted for 15 minutes while I had water dripping down the back of my neck. Even worse, my hair was so uneven it took my next stylist 3 haircuts to fix his work. M Salon is not worth the attitude or money ? with results my 6-year-old could replicate. more

Excellent Salon 12/13/2008

This is an excellent salon. There is tranquility. The personnel is polite and professional. You are offered refreshments. My pedicure and manicure were excellently done, including a small massage. It was an enjoyable experience. I will be returning. In this area you can just get out and walk around the shops and visit the restaurants. A great Saturday outing. more
